I never see someone who doesn't drive themself and come alone. I verify this before they come in.

We politely take our shoes off at the door.

They watch me lock both locks on my door (for both our safety).

I never see someone who has any cash / dash reports whether they also have great reviews or not.

I don't see someone if I am intoxicated at all, it makes you seem an easy target.

If they can't follow those rules, it ends immediately (rare) and I give them a little to cover gas and they leave no issue.

If I can tell they are high I am out.

I leave any roses laying out in plain site. Surprisingly 95% will see it and not even touch or count it until they go to leave. Puts them at ease though as they know it won't be an issue.

Also I make sure that I am in charge, but do not give them an excuse to feel they need to cash and dash (safety, cleanliness, etc).

LOL this doesn't fix bad service, but I haven't had a cash and dash since. My theory is, if you give them the opportunity a lot of them are going to take it. They get calls all day long, they are not worried about making regulars. If the opportunity to dash is not there though, most understand it is well worth the money.
