Supereloquent's Reports - Philadelphia

This is my first post here. I've been trolling the forums on BestGfe for a few months and can't say I've gotten much out of it. All I wanted to say is that I've learned more here in a few hours than the several months over there. You guys are total pros! Specifaclly, reading all the posts of supereloquent just gives a wealth of great information. For that thanks!

That said, I think the fact that at least one credible monger (Freaklikdat) says he's picked somebody up there and three other experienced mongers including myself say we've seen girls there we either believed were working or at least looked the part, makes me think there probably is occasional action to be found. To your point, no I wouldn't go out of my way to hang out there looking for it. But I go to that Wawa fairly often when I'm mongering and based on these reports I'm going to be more open to trusting my instincts that some of these girls may be working.

What you said describes the well known psychological phenomenon of [b]FALSE[/b] DISTORTION of the often repeated word/story from its original form, so I guess I fail to see the analogy, unless that is, in fact, what you meant. In this case that might be exactly what applies.

A monger [b]ONCE[/b] found a SW in that Wawa and others "think" they may have seen "possible" but unconfirmed SWs there, and someone saw evidence of drug paraphernalia in the MEN'S room? I have found SWs in the supermarket too, and even in a restaurant, but I don't recommend it as a search strategy. I am sure you can choose to look anywhere you like for them, and risk funny looks or worse from every civvie you approach, but, if I have a choice between trolling the K and hanging out at that Wawa, or even making the attempt if I just happen to be pumping gas there or buying something, I know where the odds will likely be 100 times better or more in finding what I want.

I guess if you torture a mouse long enough it might eventually sing the Star Spangled Banner, but that wouldn't be my preferred strategy for beginning a Phillies' game.

I remember Joe Friday. Played by actor Jack Webb. Joe Friday walked like he had a broomstick up his back, never cracked a smile, never broke into a sweat chasing anyone, never a hair out of place. Almost never took off his tweed jacket. His partner in some of the episodes was played by actor Harry Morgan ( colonel Potter of M*A*S*H fame for all you youngins).

The best episodes were the ones about drugs--we would of course be high while watching back in the early 70's. I remember one where the parents were smoking weed, and their kid drowned in the bathtub--the hippie mom was hysterical, and Joe of course preached against the evil of drugs.

There was another one where a teenage kid was wearing a Nehru jacket (I bet few people know what that is), and was chanting the Hare Krishna. Sgt Joe Friday asked him: "Ok, son--what are you on? Uppers, downers..."? Those were the days.

I make no case against anyone's credibility. I was merely amusing myself over the flurry of "reporting" all based on a MISTAKEN address. You do not find it similarly amusing, because it is at your expense. An observation is not a confirmation. Just because it looks like a duck and walks like a duck doesn't mean it fucks for money like a duck. I trust that you have instincts about that location from your observations and your trained eye and maybe your instincts are correct, but maybe they are not. All we have so far is an incorrect report from an out-of-towner followed by ONE confirmed hit and a few suspicions. Compare that to the number of CONFIRMED hits at Huntingdon/Cambria/Russell/Sedgley/Castor/Buckius/Pike. This contest is the pee wee girls playing the Eagles. When you go hunting for deer you don't go to the beach at Atlantic City because someone once shot one there and a few others "thought" they saw a few hanging out there occasionally.

Above is a quote taken from a response to a question posed by a fellow member. He was asking/questioning what I paid a particular girl. I’ve been questioned about what I pay on numerous occasions.

Here, once again is my final answer on the subject. Nothing!!! I pay them nothing for sex. Paying for sex is illegal. I am a stand-up All American, law abiding Citizen. I would never willingly break the law. I do not condone or participate in prostitution or solicit for sex. You know I'm a huge advocate of your reporting and pics but lighten up a little. In these last couple of posts it's hard not to detect a tone of you talking down to me and others like you’re the professor or pope of mongering and all else. We’re not all brain-dead inarticulate cretins.

In my last post I merely made a casual, lightly-considered comment responding to your point about what turned out to be an erroneous reference to a pick up at an Aramingo Wawa. I knew the parallel I was drawing wasn't the best fit for what you were describing but thought it did highlight how people can sometimes be quickly led afield by misinformation. Of course I don’t think that’s actually the case here. I have visited that Aramingo Wawa many times and it sounds like other mongers do too. There are plenty of reasons to believe there might be action there or in the vicinity, whether it is demographics, the proximity to K and to where some K SWs live, and the look or behavior of some of the girls we see there. I would still be very cautious popping the question to one of these Wawa possibilities and would never go out of my way to monger there. But given that I already DO go there on a fairly regular basis the takeway for me is to be more trusting of my radar and more open to picking up and acting on signals the Wawa wannabees may send. It's always a treat to pick up a gem off the beaten path.
