I'm going to be traveling to Michigan soon and will still be some distance from the border. However, I have read that viagra no longer has patent protection in Canada.
Figured some of you guys in Detroit may have gone cross the border to get some at a legit pharmacy and might be able to give me an idea of:
1) price for a doctor's visit for a non-Canadian.
2) price for actual Viagra from a legitimate brick & mortar pharmacy in Canada.
3) price for GENERIC Viagra from a legitimate brick & mortar pharmacy in Canada.
I'm trying to figure out if it is worth the extra gas to go to Canada while I'm about halfway through Michigan. Also thought it might be worthwhile to keep an eye out for cheap flights and go for a weekend.

What a deal! $10 per piece for 100 tablets of generic viagra? That's $1, 000, according to my calculation, for something you can get for far less through various web sites. Come to think, I just ordered a power pack of 10 generic cialis (20 mg) and 14 generic viagra (100 mg). With insurance and delivery it came to $97.
Depending on the responsiveness of your innards, you should be at least halve each viagra pill and still get the job done.
Not that you asked me, but here is something else to consider. All these pills have expiration dates. So unless you f*ck endlessly, don't buy huge quantities unless there are compelling price / use reasons.

Viagra has also gone off patent in Europe and I've read a couple of articles indicating that you can get generics for 85p (about $1.35 or so) each in the UK. It's sold over the counter in the UK, so maybe I'll just keep an eye out for a flight there or ask a relative of mine (who lives over there) to send me a care package.

When they are ilegally selling them to you without a prescription and despite the US patent being in force, do you think they would hesitate to purchase the allegedly generic versions from less than legitimate sources? Do you think they would hesitate to cut corners involving safe storage methods? Do you think they would hesitate to sell out of date pills? If they were not made by a legitimate pharmaceutical company, they can have all sorts of foreign materials in there, including fecal matter. Have you ever read any of the reports on some of these types of pills that have been analyzed? Scary stuff.

The price isn't that great, but it is better than the USA You can also verify they will accept a prescription from a USA doctor.
You can order online through any site certified by the Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA). They are legit and regulated by the Canadian government. The sites on there get their generic viagra from an Indian pharmaceutical company called Cipla. Unlike one of the posters, I order my mEDs online. I get generic manufactured by reputable Indian companies and airmailed from India.
May I get poisoned by the curry walis? The Indian pharmaceutical industry produces many of the drugs for big USA companies. So I fear more the possibility of a four-hour hard-on than that. What are we supposed to do during those four hours anyway?

Which means there is no legit GENERIC Viagra obtainable from an actual American pharmacy. I suggest that you might want to question your friend on this as it sounds a bit fishy to say the least.

I actually thought of calling one about price, but it never occurred to me that they might take a US prescription and that I should ask that too. I had assumed that I would have to get a Canadian one. If they do accept a US one, that would solve that problem.

What are we supposed to do during those four hours anyway?[/QUOTE]Personally, I've just always been a bit concerned over whether any particular website is selling something that is actually made by a reputable Indian pharmaceutical company as opposed to some place that was not a legitimate Indian pharmaceutical company without appropriate clean rooms, etc. There is way too much stuff faked over there for me to try purchasing from some unknown website from India with unknown quality control that is supplying something they claim comes from a reputable manufacturer. I'd rather walk into a legit brick & mortar pharmacy in Canada.

I have traveled to India many times on work and have visited many of the manufacturing facilities for companies like Watson, GKS etc. Every facility I have visited was at par with a US manufacturing facility, some are even better but the problem is India has many street Industries manufacturing meds who do not even know what is quality, cleanliness or hygiene. When you buy online (not including medco or other reputed brands) you do not know who manufactured it or who sells it. I must agree, most of the US, Canadian and European pahrama companies get their supplies from India but they are verified, quality checked facilities not just some vague manufacturer. Question is whether you want to take the risk of some harmful chemicals getting in to your system causing long term ill effects or you want to be sure of what you are consuming.
I just heard the patents for V have run out here in the states. You can get generic here now. Anyone else hear this?
