Any guy so close to a girl that he is advertising for her and controlling who gets her number may also be waiting to knock me in the head and take my money or my car. It just makes me uncomfortable. I think that "trust your gut" is good advice that I will continue to follow. I don't like the fact that this sort of promotion by members seems to be growing quite a bit.

Not knocking anyone, just stating what I am comfortable with. I do remember the LC guy who you mentioned doing a mea culpa on this board apologizing for harm that he had done prior to disappearing. Add that to the memory of some real poor quality that he promoted along with the ones that looked pretty good and it just confirms my preference to find my own.

They come in hot with lots of new women or Utr girls, all acting like they are someone special and think they deserve to have their own personal tread and / or rating system. We've had LC, Pimrose recently to name a few but there are others. There is even one out there now doing the same thing. These guys have never worked out well for the girls and it's never ended well. Sure, they've come up with some new good ones, but everyone likes to overlook the fact that these guys always end up abusing, taking advantage of and generally miss treating the very women they claim to promote.

I always found it curious that all or most of his ladies were very hardcore addicts. The ones that weren't or didn't get talked about near as much would drop his ass. I wasn't a fan of either Penrose or LC but I believed their intentions to improve the game were somewhat altruistic. I'd prefer girls less dependent on substances which is like finding a unicorn unfortunately.

Sometimes to back themselves up, give multiple good reviews, etc. And sometimes someone creates multiple accounts, and just sits on them, doesn't use them for awhile, then bam all these post with all this info and 25 post and 1 month later a senior, no 6 month waiting period for Senior status because the account was created over 6 months ago. Why create an account and not use for all that time with all your knowledge? Just kinda shady.

Or perhaps "pro bono" visits, giving them transportation to / from appointments, etc.
While I understand an "occasional" exception, generally there's no reason if a provider is looking for more business, there's no reason to just post a review and tell them to post an ad and then just do a review. Not sure why some guy could screen better than she could? Oh wait, they can't, screening is an imperfect science. Very rarely do you ever see just a prostitution arrest, and they are generally drugs and other charges involved. It's all just misdemeanor petty bs they don't want to fuck with. Now I'm going off memory here but I believe it was JSMW who posted last year around Derby about a sting where they didn't even arrest the girls, but there was a Monger who got a human trafficking charge for providing her a ride. Best off just tell them to post an add and let communication be between us and direct to them. If they advertise on sister site here on USA can even do PMs if they want. Just food for thought.

General response. I believe LC made his exit around the time I joined this site. I'm thinking around 4 years ago. So I don't remember "all" the post or how things went. And for Penrose, I had no problems with. He had his own "approved" list but generally the approved posted an ad on sister site with their contact number. I didn't see every approved girl as all were not for me, but a few off the top of my head were Sarah Jane, Longleghottie, Jennidesired, Lyric who all had ads on sister site fairly soon after initial review.
