There's an app called sideline that will assign you a different number and when you get a phone call it reroutes through a separate phone number. All messages are stored within the app and notifications can be turned off just in case a provider decides to try and contact you. It has a setting to send the call directly to voicemail so you wouldn't have to worry about receiving calls either. Great thing about it is it's free and will save that number for you as long as you've used the program within the last 30 days.
