The site peaked my curiosity. I joined in late September and completed my profile. Started looking at a couple of girls. For the most part, the women are making first moves with me. I have 11 offers for dates I haven't accepted yet. And a few winks where girls are waiting for offers. When I first started I went on a couple dates. A few didn't contact me again after the first date. Yes I felt like it was a waste but it's a nice way to meet woman. I've been on two or three follow up dates with 3 different girls. I didn't pay for the following dates. And a couple girls I have a on going arrangement. Typically 50 for a casual date and 100 if it's like a date date I. E. Dinner / movie / have fun in a room. Way better than gambling with these backpage girls and worrying about getting burned.
So this site has been successful for me and there's tons of girls to choose from in the tri state that are pretty open. Just some advice most girls tell me they got weirded out by guys on the first date because some guys expect more. Or think it's like BP and expect some action after lunch or dinner. I'm getting action because I get them to like me and don't let things get weird. Of course YMMV.

Yes, Backpage "sexual" areas are now down, this is government at its' best, the big wigs that can afford the high priced hookers, especially in DC, make the rules for us peons. CL is a waste, so may bogus ads; at least, backpage was somewhat real. You would think by 2017, this would all be legalized. Backpage is still up and running in Canada, are we that far behind Europe and Canada?

So it's not exactly the end of the world as we know it. But Backpage is going to have to restrict posts on the dating section too soon probably, the way Craigslist had to. It looks like some people have tried posting there (CL) but are getting flagged and removed.
Some people are posting on CV, but not a lot. I've heard that they aren't getting much attention there.
What other sites are good for posting? Maybe we can form a concensus on some good sites and suggest our regulars go there?
