Could LE use what is said in the email against him or her?
E.g, making an appointment, referring to activities, etc.

Thanks![/QUOTE]If you write something incriminating and LE can tie the e-mail to you, sure. If you send it from your home, then the IP address in the e-mail leads right back to your house. It doesn't identify which person in the house sent the e-mail, but it sure as hell narrows it down to include you.
How is anyone going to get around the IP address issue?
Has anyone been known to get busted by this method?
As a side note, what percentage of ladies keep the emails, phone records?
Would hate to appear in a book one day, have my name on Oprah, or become Tiger Woods syndrome- not that I'm as rich or popular!

I know someone that uses Hushmail or something like that,
I also use Firefox as a browser, U can turn off bookmarks from showing as you type in addresses, I hide them in inoxcious sub directories and keep all other info on a removable stick drive.
The trick is to never lie to her, she can read a lie, if she ask's tell her you were e-mailing a prostitute, then laugh, she won't see the lie.
I do mine from work.
Also in Firefox (free download) you can erase personal info as you exit, so no visible trace of where U have been.

It's probably one of the MOST traceable services on the Internet. Google knows exactly who you are. If it receives a warrant from LEO and complies, you're fucked.
