Hi Fellas, I am not a newbie, I monger in the USA But TJ scene is new to me. My question is the guest fee. I was watching a guy on YT, he is basically saying that even the Chica friendly hotel does not allow more girls to come if you stay there for couple of days. Reasonably priced rooms.
Reasonable room accommodations: Wi-Fi strength, room cleanliness (I dare say).
Rooms are literally built for sex LOL: furniture, multiple porn stations on TV, pictures on the walls, hot tubs, showers, etc. It's sex sex sex.
To boot, the 24/7 bar and restaurant is decent too.
But Cons:
Doing anything is a freaking burden at this place; checking in, checking out, walking around the hotel (multiple checkpoints to get patted down and metal detected, etc.).
Price / money gouging at every point / minute; checkout I only got a portion of my $50 back because they said my room was dirtier than most? And by dirty, they meant (beer bottles that were not drank everywhere).
And why were the non drank, full freaking bottles everywhere? Because when you bring a girl to your room from the club (a room you paid for, not rented for an hour) they constantly call your room every 30 mins or so to make you buy drinks or gouge you for something. It's terrible.
Basically improved efficiencies and leaving true guests the hell alone would go a long way for me.
In summary, I'm still a bigger fan of getting a nicer hotel (Pueblo or Ticuan) outside the zona and calling over multiple agency girls at my leisure.

On the way out the door the doorman said something but I couldn't understand him so I kept walking, turned out he wanted a tip for her coat.

Yeah the doormen are usually given a $1 tip when you take a girl up to a room. You really missed out by not checking out the scene at night though. The best looking girls don't start working until around 8 pm. You should have swung by the Adelitas club also. It's more hit or miss but every once in a while you can strike gold. But I prefer to take out cash and change money before I go. I have changed cash down in the Zona before. It's not bad.

Right before you cross on US side there's many ATM or bank options.

Went to HK for my first time last night. Drove down the 5 and exited at the final exit before the border. I parked in the first parking lot to the right. I wasn't 100% sure where to go but I did see some videos online and followed the crowd and ended up at the border crossing room. I printed out a 7 day fmm at home but the guy didn't even look at it. Then there was a long line of people that I made the mistake of waiting in for a minute or two only to realize its for people with backpacks / bags which I didn't have. I jumped the line, walked in and followed the path to the taxi area. I offered the first taxi 5 USD to take me to HK but he said 6 USD so I kept walking. The second taxi driver accepted 5 USD. It was about 7 pm when I got out of the taxi and I hadn't eaten all day so I decided to grab some tacos on the corner by HK. I cruised around the street and alley eating and checking everything out. I have never been to a place that had an open market like this so it was strange seeing the police next to me and then the girls also next to me asking for sex. I knew that this place was special.
After eating I went into HK. I was in a sort of shock and amazement. I spent the next 10 or 15 minutes just slowly walking around the place and getting a feel for the layout. Wow it's cool to see the clubs down there are still going strong. I haven't been in years. Used to go a lot between 2004-2006. Back then it was a lot easier and felt safer. I remember walking across the border being super easy. Going through a large turnstile, it was like going to Disneyland LOL. I used to go to Adelitas and HK a lot and I remember the girls being ridiculously hot. Like something out of a cartoon. Unreal. And they were only charging $60 for CFS and $11 for the room. I once got a double date deal for $45 each. I imagine that it's definitely nowhere near that price these days though.
It makes sense that the cartels wouldn't mess with you going down there because business, but still watch your back even coming back across the border to the US side. The one time I ever had trouble was when me and my buddy came back to the US side and on our way to our car in the parking lot we got jumped and robbed by some gang members. The weather is 80 in SD it will be about the same in TJ. During the summer time I never go before 3:30 or 4 pm. During the summer there is almost no breeze in downtown TJ so it sweltering. You should consider taking a Uber or cab if the weather is to hot.

Quick question: It sounded from your story that you went at it solo. How was it? I have been looking at this forum and been planning a visit, but have had mixed reviews about going at it by yourself. I don't have a problem being by myself, I just don't want to go and end up creating one being by myself.
I was just checking to see what the scene is like crossing the border, in MX and trying to leave. I don't have a problem minding my business, doing what I came to do and leaving, not a hot head, and a fairly calm person until fu&ked with, then we have a problem. If I can go, see some ass, get some possibly, don't spend my entire bank down there, drink a beer and come back across to the US and potentially do it all over again another day. This is what I want. Is this what I get? Can someone shed some light on this subject for me?

If you do decide to go solo it'll just take you longer to discover the tricks of the trip. Once you discover all the tricks it's a lot better to go solo all the time.

Like I've said, cross the border on foot and as soon as you get through on the Mexican side hop in a Hong Kong limo or marked vehicle and they will take you straight there. Adelitas has vehicles that will do the same as well. If for some reason they're not there at the pick up spot hop in a cab and pay no more than 5 bucks they will literally leave you at the front door of Hong Kong if you're afraid of police messing with you. Adelitas is literally a 30 second walk down the block from Hong Kong also.
When you're ready to leave ask the doorman at Hong Kong to arrange a ride for you or hop in a cab, they're all posted right in front of the clubs and will drop you off back at the border. There's no way cops will mess with you unless you're begging them to.
Obviously like someone else said don't wear jewelry and expensive clothes. Apart from not wanting to stick out you also don't want the girls looking you over figuring they can squeeze more money out of you than necessary.

It's quite simple, park at the border crossing or take a trolley to the border, soon as you cross into Mexico hop in a Hong Kong marked vehicle or take a cab for 5 bucks to Hong Kong, which is a 5 minute drive at most. They will literally leave you at the front door to the club, go inside and enjoy. Approach girls you find attractive and negotiate a price to go "upstairs" aka go to a hotel room above the club to bang. If you're White or in fancy clothes the girls might try to squeeze 120-150 bucks out of you. The going rates are actually at 80-100 so don't be afraid to negotiate. The room rental is 30 bucks for 30 minutes. If you want more time you can negotiate that also.
Alternatively the girls who stand outside on the same street will only cost you anywhere from 25-50 bucks for full service and the rooms are only around 5-10 bucks. Most street girls aren't as attractive as the club girls though, but there are some good ones. If you're a newbie going by yourself stick to the block Hong Kong is located at. There are several clubs on the same block including the infamous "Adelitas". Circling the block should be safe, it's a pretty big block.

For the best selection of girls I would go around 7-8 pm, the later, the better. If you can only go during the daytime I wouldn't go anytime before 3 pm, just because there aren't as many females out as opposed to later on.
Uber is also another good option. You can also take the taxi van Get off by 4th & Revolucion. You can also walk if you wish. I usually walk to the Zona if the weather is not scorching hot. Just make a right go through the old shopping center. Head over the bridge towards the arch. Always look to see who is behind you especially in the Zona. Muggings have been fairly rare. But you should not let your guard down. I recommend taking a Uber back after dark. I would also recommend getting some pesos. If you pay in dollars the Mexican's alway round up in their favor.
