In actuality, I've never seen Covington have a lot of action at all. I've seen maybe a couple that were worthy over the years. Even said that, there still aren't that many out at all. I think you may have gotten lucky seeing this one.

I also want to touch the subject of the new cameras they are putting up in the city. You can find the story linked below. They have installed cameras in the city and OTR over 5 years ago, and are still up to this day. So why are they not using them? Money. The city lacks the funds to pay for the monitoring by LE. They have a little grant money to do it for awhile and then it goes bye bye. Right now they're active in East and West PH. Older cameras are in OTR. LE take a training course and can login via the internet.

Not frequenting the same streets / bus stops. I drove from Newport to I-75 last evening and saw two on my way through. I will also add that of the 15 or 20 that I would guess ply the streets of Covington, there have been only three or so that I would let in my car. Many just gross me out. At the beginning of September, I turned a corner and pulled into my parking spot in downtown Covington -- two that were sitting on a nearby bus stop bench came up to my car to ask me if I were lost. No, not lost but I'm not going to pick up at my office.

That makes total sense to me. Thanks for the information Jay. I am maybe in Covington once a week tops. The only activity I have ever noticed is my most recent experience and the time I seen Summer (Formerly Summer and Stacey) and her new girl walking down Pike street. I didn't stop but since I know her well had no problem picking her out on the street.

I do think I will make more of an effort to ride through the hot spots in the future just to get in touch with how things work. Just like a junkie LOL! Going back for another rush LOL!

KG. [/QUOTE]Personally, I think that's a great idea. I've done the routes countless times, even when I have no intention of making a stop. It keeps your mind and eyes fresh. And, yes, it can be a hell of a rush.

Law enforcement is cracking down on drunken drivers this holiday weekend with at least three checkpoints in Hamilton County and one in Butler County.

One will be held Friday night, operated by the Cincinnati Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. It will run from 8 pm to midnight on Central Parkway, near Marshall Avenue, along the border of Camp Washington and University Heights.

During the past couple weeks I dreamt of a few positive experiences. The first three weekends ago. I was cruising the normal routes and not seeing much out other than a few near the Imperial that I may have partaken in. However, I would never actually make a pick up near a busy intersection, and the ladies did not seem to want to leave the area. Therefore, I headed towards LPH, and did not see any on my first pass, but on my second pass I spotted 2 WSW. One I have never seen before, and circled around and went down a side street. She was so strung out that she walked right past me like she forgot why she came down the road. I figured it was for the best, and moved on. On approaching the next stop sign, the other WSW I saw was standing there and came up to my vehicle. She got in and we were off. Did the usual checks and found a nice place to park. She said her name was Big Baby, and we agreed to $$ for a BBBJ. She was not much to look at, as she was much larger than I would have preferred. However, she was very pleasant to talk to, and did a pretty decent job. I would repeat if I saw her again.

The following weekend I was out and about again. Run the normal routes, and spotted several WSW behind the Interstate, that I would rate at 6+. I just though you guys would get a kick out of this one. I was cruising around LPH one night and saw a very hot young brunette, I thought for certain she was civilian but she gave me the look and I about freaked with anxiousness. I turned around but missed her. Had to wave off a geeked out girl. Turned at the next block and the hottie jumped in. Said her name was Sarah and said she was 19.
