Has anyone been able to get an appointment with Hawaii Massage Academy and or the one on in Waikiki? Want to know if it's worth it since the price are so cheap. I know the one in CC is so hard to get an appointment. I have been there use to see and older or middle age Korean lady and she was good. Want to try some of the Japanese student or the white ones but idk know any names. Use to just walk in or call and bam score the appointment. TIA!

TIA![/QUOTE]CK, pre-covid, I used to go cause was very very cheap. Plus it helps the student get hours so they can get their license. This is where I could find a good massage therapist. Back then had all kinds, Haole, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Afro American, Mexican, etc. If I found a good therapist, and we click, I would get phone number. Cause after Massage School, they may go independent, or work at a legit place. Mind you I had my lucks and bad lucks at massage school. Some gave me their number, some said this was just a hobby, telling me sorry only for family and friends. The ones I got number, no longer live on island relocated to mainland or Asia, eyc. It's was hit or miss but I suggest check it out, you never know, you might find a hottie. Hono1.

Back then, most of the ladies looked like angry lesbians. First time was crap. Went back because was cheap. Found one that actually gave me a good massage. Bonus was BBBJ. When I would go back to see her, other "ladies" even barged in. Lucky she wasn't sucking at the time. She gave me her number and I met up with her a few times. She never ended up in the massage business. Ditched the number when she got too clingy.

So you can get good and bad.

TIA![/QUOTE]Started going last November, December, January. Local Discount cheap. Only tried the future potential student MTs. Curtain stalls, so no real privacy. Strictly professional, covered was told to keep underwear on. Butt and groin restricted areas. Midday. More Lomi, nap time, with soft hands rubbing back. Gave positive feedback. Hoping for more if I see them again. Didn't try the full time MTs with possible extras. YMMV. Prefer the professional Thai shop for a good stretch. FME.

Anyone ever been to First Start in CS in recent years? Anyone nowadays ever get luck getting an appointment with the owner?? Been only to her (original) suite a few times, last was 1/20, pre-pandemic so been awhile. Weird thing is, whenever I've reached out since, she never replied at all, nada, zip. All on different occasions too. You'd think she'd be wanting customers esp. During pandemic and this kind of 'no response' from a LEGIT provider is only the behavior found in some non-legit providers. What gives?? I've always had awesome, strong legitimate sessions with her (and yes always behaved even though she's smoking fine as dandy too) so I dunno why I can't set things up with her anymore 😥. Would love to add her back on into my rotation should I ever get the chance. Thoughts, luck anyone?

She could be on an extended break or be closed. I took a look at a few of her reviews and along with your assessment of her skills, Amy seems to be a very good therapist and popular with men and women customers.

Unlike restaurants, stores and massage shops that accept all customers that walk through their doors, businesses like First Start Thai Massage can screen their customers. You make the assumption that due to the pandemic, her customer base went into hiding. In the early days of the pandemic, massage shops had to close their doors, creating a shortage of massage therapists.

A lot is written about the price of a massage. I do not know what kind of tip you gave Amy when she massaged you, however, if compared to her other customers it was less than average, perhaps she is prioritizing her better paying clientele over you.

People write: I gave her "X" amount of dollars and she did not say anything. Just because she did not say anything does not mean it was the proper amount. She was just being polite, not burning a bridge and perhaps on a slow day, may respond to your text and bring you in for a massage.

For me, if I like the therapist for her excellent massage, good location, convenient hours, well decorated space, nice atmosphere, soothing music, enjoyable conversation, good looks or whatever, I leave a good tip to show my appreciation and hopefully the next time I want to see her, she answers my text and makes room for me in her schedule.

Needed a lomi and wanted to try a new place. Made appointment with the Kapolei Massage Institute. Lomi was spot on and price is really good. The top LMT's are booked and there are students there working towards getting the LMT license. The rooms are first class, the environment is relaxing. I went there to get the knots taken out and the goal was met. Gave my MT a really good tip for her awesome attention to me needs, no HE. I will repeat to get a really good affordable lomi.
