If there is someone in your life who would notice (and care) that you have an extra phone, look into Google Voice.
It isn't as secure (Google tracks everything, right?) , but you can do everything from your smartphone without having to hide a burner. Plus you can set up all kinds of custom messages so your sugar baby rings straight through (with a special ringtone) while that streetwalker you gave your number to goes to VM. Blocking numbers is super easy, too.
Basically, if you are more worried about your SO than LE, check out Google Voice.

It sets you up with a temp number that you can trash after a few days. It's advertised as a number you might put on Craigslist if you were selling, say, a bicycle and didn't want your real number on there.
