In that situation I usually have some good back-and-forth conversation to at least get a feel. I would never send cash for them to get an Uber but I have on occasion sent an Uber to pick her up and meet me at a restaurant. It takes some trust on both parts and at least the most I can lose is a couple of bucks for a canceled Uber ride. Personally I think it might be a little too creepy to offer to pick her up the first time. If drinks / dinner go well typically we will go back to my place and then Uber her home. For me, a lot of this comes down to making sure she at least has some kind of a decent head on her shoulders. Anytime I've skipped that due diligence vetting I've ended up with some version of a desperate crackhead.

Unfortunately I don't have that much trust. So I wouldn't even want a new girl at my place, unless we had at least a few dates and had zero issues. These girl can get back with boyfriends or develop drug issues. She could decide to pay you a visit with said boyfriend or maybe its just him and a bunch of his drugged out friends. You never know.

As for picking her up. Wouldn't expect her to give me her address. Infact if she's new. I tell her she shouldn't trust anyone. To many wackos in philly. Period We can meet at a restaurant, bar or coffee shop or even a wawa. If the neighborhood is really bad its just a no go for me. Its better to be safe than sorry. And I am actually from Kensington. Its alot different nowadays.

The bottom line is how much risk in all this stuff you to want to leverage.. I have too many people in my life that count on me. Personally I prefer to try to limit it as much as possible.

One rule is never give money up front! If they don't like it then tell them they can leave. If worse comes to worse and they get hysterical and abusive and threatening that they will accuse you of something and start screaming or say their thug boyfriend is on the way, then just give them a small amount by saying here's a little for your time and gas to get them to leave. Even if you paid for the hotel it's sunk cost. No use risking losing a few hundred more. You can show them you have it but don't give it to them until the end. And never leave it alone in the room with them. They will go through your things looking for it.

This is a really sweet young woman with whom I have met and enjoyed some fun several times. BBFS CIP on the menu, everything is on the menu (but she's VERY inexperienced). Just got a call from my friend JQ. He met this chick for a meet and greet at a Starbucks in South Philly. They agreed to move to a hotel. He drove them both to the hotel in his car. When they got to the room he put the envelope down and hit the bathroom. He was in the shower and she bolted with the money. When he heard the door shut he got out of the shower threw on his clothes and took the stairs instead of the elevator down. Chick was gone.

In my case, the chick drove to the hotel herself. She had a car to bolt. In this case, there must of been a boyfriend or someone following them to the hotel so she could get away quickly. This is crazy!
