Cell phones today are just too good as cameras. I have been shooting provider pictures for over 15 years. I have been shooting with digital cameras that whole time, in fact I have about $4000 invested in equipment.
Over the last year or so I have just been shooting with my cell phone because of the ease of use and of course the image quality is superb. I will admit to Photoshopping every finished shot, but not to hide defects in the model but to enhance the quality of the image. I change exposure, contrast and other things. I have never had a complaint that one of my subjects wasn't the lady who opened the door.
With the modern cell phone camera the availability of filters lends itself to misleading pictures. When someone who doesn't understand what makes a good picture has tools that make their pics "cool".
They tend to do inderscriminate and useless edits.
The point of this post is to say that a woman who is going to misrepresent herself will use every tool they have to do it.
As a consumer we have to be smart enough to realize that if a lady adds mouse ears, rabbit noses and flowers to her pictures she has to be hiding something.
