Life Energy Spa. Raleigh.
I've been to this place twice and both times were great. Inside it feels open and contemporary with a vaulted ceiling. First, I had the Asian manager or owner who speaks fluent English. The other lady didn't speak much but she didn't need a translator to communicate. The owner is Protestant and it's obvious with the crosses and Bible verse at the pay counter. Don't get the first three or four rooms because they are directly across from the chair massage area. Nothing but a great massage here.
Refresh Spa. Cary.
A younger staff with three or four working. I was hopeful but quickly noticed the curtains for doors. They don't massage the butt and face up they only massage the head, face and feet with cream. Everything else is over a blanket. Disappointing in the expectation department but my girl was cute and the massage was decent enough to warrant a repeat visit.
Ruby Spa. Durham.
This place is $110 for the hour. By appointment only and only one lady was working. I was curious but didn't make an appointment because of the house fee.
Ling Massage. Durham.
I wasn't sure about this place. The in-call location was in a decent neighborhood but the house itself looked a bit overgrown from the Google photo. I called and the lady seemed pleasant and upbeat so I went. The place is untidy and has clutter, but I stayed. The Chinese lady did a wonderful stretching type massage and no tip was required. No hint of extras. A great value if you can get passed the overall appearance. I would say she has strong community beliefs and isn't shy about them. I will be repeating.
I thought it was too until it wasn't. It's listed on STG its your typical Asian ad there. I only had 140, and maybe I got lucky 🤷8205;9794;65039; she was easy on the eyes nice tack and super tight!
Apparently it was lucky spa. And maybe I just got lucky? My experience seems to be better than what I have read here previously for there.
In town for a few days and have read all of the reviews. Most places you all talk about are on the outskirts of the city, but I'm looking for something walkable from downtown — don't need much just a good massage and a release.
What do you all recommend? Feel free to PM.

You might find a crack hoe, but that would be it. Before the city cleaned up the hood things were available, but Raleigh has tried to go high class. Nothing is in walking distance for anything but a meal or a beer here. This place is sprawl city.
