For me I won't drop $$$ on Joyce because you can get way better for that damage. But now $$ then I'd drop that for her. So I think its more standards on the damage, etc.

We all need to take the advice regularly offered here -- do NOT pay in advance, do NOT send any gift cards, e-cards, e-payments, in advance, ever. Most of us learn this lesson, sooner or later. Some are "savvy" enough to give you an address nearby, and not tell you about the advance payment requirement until you are in the lobby of their (alleged) apartment building, or you report that you have arrived at the motel / hotel, etc. Then they say they need a deposit to "come down and get you".

Don't fall for it. As long as some of us are stupid enough to do the advance payment, this will continue.
