I was never at the Genoa place, but I remember Dawn working the desk in Belvidere back then. She must have only been in her early 20's. Used to tease her all the time about giving me a session. Then a few years ago I called to see who was working and the girl at the desk rattled off some names and Dawn was one of them. Couldn't believe my ears. I made an appointment with her and was pretty nervous about how things would go, because I had known her for so long as the desk girl. Got to the room, laughed our butts off and had a great time. She made the transition really well. I hope her and the rest of the girls are doing OK.

I am now starting to highly doubt if ERS will ever reopen and also how much longer any other places like ERS will stay open.

Since it has been over 3 months since ERS closed, I wonder where all the ERS ladies have ended up. I have only heard reports of 1 going to the places in Rockford, IL. Any members want to make some guesses where the ERS ladies may be. Are there places like ERS in Chiago or downstate Illinois?

Would an ERS massage employee be eligible for unemployment benefits?

I would think several would stay within the broader industry -- massage parlors, lingere shops, strip clubs, indepedent shows, -- and stay within the general geographic region -- northern IL, souther WI.

I'm still waiting for someone to belly up to the bar about the very old looking woman in the original news story. Maybe she was not from ERS.

It had such a relaxed vibe, was sorry to see it close.

Said she used to work in Rockford, but that the money just wasn't there to make it worthwhile working in Rockford. Could this be a sign of a general migration away from the Rockford area now that Uncle LEO seems to have a 'hard on' for busting adult businesses?

I was watching it's a wonderful life over the weekend and when they showed "Pottersville" I thought of the way Belvidere looked after the two AMP's opened.

Maybe George Bailey can turn things back.

Only not to expect as much as I wanted from the girls who were there. My only experince was when I was in town a number of years ago, I stopped by both places. I was surprised to see a girl who wa available who was also a girl I had picked up as a Rockford SW when I first came to town almost 15 years ago. I mentioned that on here and was surprised to get a PM from her on here. She asked if I was who she thought I was. Seems she remembered me. A couple times a month is generally my max.

All that being said. Liz was doing what was expected at CL. She was asking almost twice what other girls at CL have in the past. She thought I had been a regualr of another girl in Belvidere and acted like she had seen me once. I picked her since there were 3 girls available 1 I had had a bad expereince with in the past one whoI did not find attractive and Liz. I was in a splurging mood and sort fo regret picking her as it cost a lot more than I was planning. Service was adequte but not great.

Then again, if word gets out that she's charging that much, and only supplying so-so service, she might not be making much money at all.
