Unfortunately if they are doing those type of tactics, which I know some LEO does do based on news stories I've head in the past, it'll take a fuck up to make it mandatory not to. The fuck will be some officer bangs some chick the condom breaks and he catches something then he sues the department, the condom breaks and he knocks the chick up the one or both of them sue the department, or some other scenario happens where the department/city/state/etc gets sued. That will bring this sort of thing to the light and have it outright banned.

At any rate the officer should be charged with a crime too. Being a LE doesn't excuse one to break the law in order to catch a law breaker.

What happened to that cop?

It happend in Spotsylvania, VA at the MS's. The "officers" went as far as they could, up to and including FS, then turned around after getting dressed and raided the parlor. Courts upheld the tactic at that time.
