Industrial Strip -> Honeys -> Polekatz
Started at IS tonight. Rather classy, as always. There are some amazingly beautiful girls there, and they have talent to pry my cash out of my wallet. They will really grind you here, almost full contact, which can be as fun as it is devilishly tempting; that last forbidden inch becomes everything. I loved their midnight "promotion", a free silver IS mug if you get a three song lapdance. Gee golly, finally a strip club mug.
Then I went over to Honeys. Wow, what a shit hole. As I entered I was immediately accosted by quite possibly the ugliest stripper I have ever seen, and she wouldn't take a hint; offered to "curl my toes" for $20. There were a bunch of unattractive, chunky black and latino girls that then came by, each of them telling me how much they would rock me. I suppose if you liked larger women, this place would work well; not my type though. Or maybe it was just a bad time?
I then went next door to Polekatz. I think I'm spelling that right. It was alright. I also seemed to attract the ugly girls there. I am polite, and so they end up sitting next to me for what seems like ever keeping the more attractive women at bay. One endowed, black lady practically jumped me, and offered to massage me, all over in a private room, but I was not interested. I didn't stay long.
Strip club owner killed in Gary
December 8, 2009
GARY -- Police say they are still investigating the shooting death of a local strip club owner this weekend at his bar in Glen Park near Indiana University Northwest.
Crossley, 57, who lived in the 3500 block of Massachusetts Street, died after suffering a single gunshot wound, according to the Lake County Coroner's office.
Cpl. King, a spokeswoman for the Gary Police Department, said Crossley was shot in the chest after a struggle at Bodyheat, 28 E. 35th Ave. He was taken to the Methodist Hospitals in Gary, where coroner's staff said he was pronounced dead at 12:20 a.m. Saturday.
Crossley ran in the 1990s as a Democrat for mayor, calling himself the "Oprah Winfrey of candidates." He said he could sympathize with citizens frustrated with city services because of his experience locally in several professions.
However, Crossley earned notoriety mostly for running strip joints around the city. He pursued a $300,000 lawsuit against Gary in 2003 after the Lake County Liquor Board refused to renew his liquor permits. The board's primary cause for concern at the time was a series of arrests and a conviction for threatening a police officer.
King said Crossley's death is being investigated by Detective Barnes. Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Barnes.
Crossley is believed to be the 50th homicide in the city this year.
Polekatz -> Honey's -> Industrial Strip
Stopped by Polekatz around 5:30 on Tuesday and was told there were 3 girls working. I actually only saw 2 girls and the one I spoke with was not in a good mood. The waitress was pleasant but that was about it. I assume it picks up at night, but not a real fun or happy environment.
Drove on over to Honey's and there were around 4 to 5 girls working. The only one I recognized was Angela who I've spent some time with in the past. She was with what I assume was a regular of hers but she stopped by to chat real quick. I wanted to stick around and wait for her because she can be quite fun but it looked like it was going to be awhile so I took off. I think Angela is one of the more popular dancers so it can be difficult to spend some time with her.
Since I didn't have much luck with either Polekatz or Honey's, I went to the Industrial Strip. I used to stop in to see Diva, a hot blond from Lithuania, but I don't think she works here any longer. I was hoping she might be in as I arrived close to the end of the day shift, but she wasn't in. I would love to know what happened to her. Anyways, I wound up getting sets from Delilah and Jenna. Pretty good but nothing beyond the regular lap dance. Jenna had an unbelievable body. I've never received anything other than a straight lap dance at this place which seems odd because the private dance rooms provide enough privacy for a little extra fun. Oh well.
Overall, these are OK places but they don't compare to the Hip Hugger in Kokomo. Stick shifting is the norm at that place. Plus, it's good value ($10 per dance).
Industrial Strip - Waste of Time
I normally bounce around the south suburb strip clubs and was looking for something different, a change of pace. I decide to go to IS in Hammond.
Wow, $13 cover on a Thu nite at 6pm. The drinks which used to be included with the cover charge are now $1 each. Went in and got a table. There were three guys and about 5 girls which would normally be a good thing. However, the 5 were sitting together at a table and looked as if they couldn't be bothered by dealing with the paying customers. The DJ was playing the music, but no one was on stage. Finally after a half hour, a couple more customers walk in and the girls finally decide to get some work in.
The girls were actually pretty hot. The prices were 2 dances for $45 or 3 for $55. The girl usually goes topless on the first and then full nude on the second. The booths are probably the most private booths I have ever seen. The bouncer would have to walk into your booth to see you rather than just walking by. However, the girls seemed to just be going thru the motions with their dances. Very uninspired. Talked to some of the guys in there and the general consensus of the quality of dances was "Eh, oh well" which sux because the girls were cute.
In spite of the looks, this trip seemed like such a waste of time and money. Wish I had stayed in IL or gone further into IN such as one of the Gary clubs. Eh, oh well.
Wiggles NW Indiana monger memories ....
It's been a while since I've been out and about .... But the other night I found myself in East Chicago/Gary area and decided to swing by some old spots, chief among them, Wiggles. It's just a shell of a building now and never really was much to look at but it will always be by far my favorite joint. It was a sleazy dive that felt lost in time. Small. Cramped is probably a better word. But it was cozy. The girls were sometimes drunk, and sometimes homely. You gave them a dollar not because they were onstage but because they needed money to play the juke for their set. It was a great place to go when you didn't want to be bothered and just wanted to drink in a relaxed atmosphere. On a quiet industrial street at the end of the world. It was post apocalyptic.
Family owned and as long as I could remember the bartender was the same guy. And for the longest time the doorman was the same skinny Saint Nick by way of biker gang lookin' guy. They were nice, never pushy. A few years back they finally got a more modern sound system and I felt some of the charm was lost. The bar was stocked with mostly standards, not a place to get a fancy drink. Favorites were Heineken in the keggy cans.
The backroom was dark, and private, and the rules were pretty much anything goes. At least in my experience. The girls ranged from young to old. Black, white, asian and hispanic. Sometimes there was a 9 among the 4's and 6's. Sometimes a 2. Some of the dancers were there for years. Never was the term 'heart of gold' so apt.
