From what I understand it has to do with age verification for the add. The add will post then get taken down if BP can't "verify" the age of the poster. Using a CC was the way they did it before. I guess some have figured a way around it and others not so much. Sp.

Before the credit cards cut them off, BP was $7 a post (it had been $5 for a long time before that but had gone up.

Afterwards, they set a new policy where you could post once a day for free. If you wanted to repost on a schedule, or move your ad to the top more than once a day, it was $1. But that's still pretty cheap.

I'm surprised there weren't more spam ads. I'm guessing that BP was paying attention and removed some of them.

If you wanted to, you could set up 24 different posts, and renew them every day an hour apart, so always have a post on top within the last hour for free. I think that's what the asian spas were doing.

Even now, it's still only $24 a day to do that with 1 ad reposting every hour, and you can set it up to do it automatically.

I think BP gets screwed up from time to time too. I've looked in the listing for ads and not found them, but was able to bring them up in a search by keyword. They are there but not indexed properly or something.
