Libel is libel.[/QUOTE]I'm pretty sure that in order for it to be libelous, you must prove that it was written maliciously, and that it's an untrue statement of fact, and not opinion, that has caused you harm. Given those qualifications, I really doubt there's any case here. Although you can certainly try hiring an attorney and trying to scare whomever into removing the alleged information from the website. But I'd think if it were that easy, every provider who got a bad review would do the same (I know plenty of providers have attorneys as regular clients who represent them quid pro quo).

Nothing personal against you or Hunter0184, just playing devil's advocate here.

A better solution may be to figure who would have reported you to one of those sites, and why.

If the plaintiff is not a public figure (I'm assuming Hunter is not, obviously) , malice is not necessary. Untrue statement + damage to reputation is enough.

I really appreciate the feedback and the advice. No, I'm not a public figure. Just wish I knew who I pissed off enough for them to do this. The sites don't even respond to my requests for removal of my personal information and a photograph that they obviously stole from my daughters facebook page. Not a good situation.

I'm a Sr on the RI board. I'll be attending a family function, alone, on Sept 11 near Gloster (sp?).

I'm sure I'll be very tired and have to leave early, around 4pm. Traveling on Rt 95 back to RI.

Looking for info on which town would be best to locate a willing young lady just walking around who needs a ride. I also need a decent place to spend the night. One more thing any info on anyone doing outcalls would also be greatly appreciated.

Heart shaped jacuzzis (about 4'x5') in a little side room with red lighting. Plenty big enough for two people engaged in various activities, not those small 3x4 tubs they have in many hotels.

Or if you don't mind driving down to the cape, Cuddles & Bubbles is great. Just be sure to go in the winter, it's a lot cheaper then, like 80% off their summer rates.
