I approached girls on the trains, coffee shops, on the streets, bars, clubs; you name it. Have a little fun. I'd approach them in English, then when I was ignored I'd say "Oh, you don't speak English? Okay, how about Japanese?" They'd continue to ignore when I spoke Japanese, then I'd muse in Japanese about how Japanese didn't work, then I switched to Spanish, French, German, etc until I got a reaction out of the girl. At the end of the day, Japanese will open a lot of doors for you but everyone does study English for 6 years in K-12. You don't necessarily have to learn the whole Japanese language, you can instead learn the type of English Japanese people learn so you can focus your English in that direction. There's a book series called "Making Out in Japanese" that will probably get you most of the Japanese phrases you want.
I didn't always speak the language, I learned by living there. I've done the whole English pick up thing. Japan is an in person place, as much as it's online. Want a soaploand? Walk down to Yoshiwara and walk around until one of those touts approaches you. Those guys aren't trying to scam you. This is a *far* better forum for adult activities related to Japan.
Japanese people, in general, follow the rules as part of the culture. It's not about avoiding getting caught or anything, these are the rules, and they follow them.
As far as English, while English is important globally, Japan is 99% Japanese, with the last 1% being majority Chinese and Korean. There are very few opportunities to actually use English there, and even less reason to learn it seeing as how 90% of people don't even have a passport. They may interact with foreigners professionally, but they can muddle through it, or have one person on the team who did learn English serve as the intermediary, or the foreigner speaks Japanese. Japan's overall English level is complete and utter shit.

Being in this game before this nonsense and dealing with it now, there has been no improvement in any measurable way for any justification on paying more. I'd argue that service is even gone downhill in certain cases.

I can't think of anyone that scored 7 or 8 in looks except Erika (WLA), Ina (WLA), Mariah (OC), NG (MW), Harper (MW), Ms. Hattie Ms. Ka (OC) in the past six months. Almost everyone else has been a 5 or 6 in terms of the face and been a dud in term of appearance. Some would have been even lower if they weren't offering BBFS.

Assuming Pepsi never comes back and I missed the train forever, who would a good replacement be in either looks or performance and in both? So, 3 potential suggestions. I don't mind age whatsoever, in fact, I prefer the ajummas. I just want to experience something close to what I missed out on.
