I think you are right I took out my cell phone and checked my " in coming phone calls" and I google her phone number just to see if anymore info / intel showed up on her I did see a RIP-OFF review dated NOV 12 that was posted on her (it didn't say much all someone posted was and kept saying was not to see her or you will be sorry for the rest of your life not how they got rip-off or nothing more then that ) WTF? I was able to setup a google voice number and then use an app (I think "talkatone") that gave me a free alternative number on my iphone. It took me about 15 minutes to figure it all out and make sure the alternative number was being sent on the caller I'd. Works great when I was connecting up with a Craigslist spinner a few weeks ago. When done, I simply deleted the app. All I would need to do is reload the app and sign in with my google voice login if I wanted to use again.

I've got a burner phone, but was thinking about Google voice since keeping one phone would be easier. The question is. Since Verizon is my carrier, would the calls through the Google voice app show up on my Verison bill call list that is online or on my printed statement? Or, do all of these calls pass over the internet and skip Verison completely?

BS.[/QUOTE]The google voice app still use my AT&T number to call out on; however, there are some non google apps that will call out on the google number. Just be sure to test it throughly. Different apps work differently.
