It can't be made safe because there is always a chance that some asshole with a bug up his butt will take the time to investigate who mongers are and he will probably figure it out to some degree. Hey we all know Jackie from Huntington Station. Well one of the great things about her is her teaching skills. Also I went into the 7-11 a few times, and got a drink, gum etc, while shooting the breeze with the few people I saw around there (wishing everyone a Happy New Year since it was that time of the year).

As for LE, they were there, I did spot them but I stayed off their face, and explored the side streets as much as the K itself. I will definitely be trying the place in the summer.

By the way I did see two girls, white looked around early 20's they were always at the Quick Stop on Orleans and K intersection. I couldn't determine if they were working, or just hanging out. I saw them on Saturday and Sunday, going in and out of the store, smoking on the sidewalk, and chatting up with a group of guys who wre just relaxing there, If I lived in the city, I would keep my eye on them.

Going back some years the north end had the best SW'er activity and when they cleaned it up, they just pushed it further south.

Year ago I live in Nicetown where I was in charge of a rather large historic property. I did quite a bit of mongering in the neighborhood too. There were several regulars for me. One was a gorgeous Japanese woman named Evette. She would be about 40 something now (as I am). Was living in South Philly with same guy-had some regulars, mostly worked early evenings and contacted by phone. I used to have her phone number but can't find it-it hasn't changed for many years.

Besides her always being an excellent and attentive date, I totally enjoyed Kate as a person-really nice, sweet, intelligent woman-not a person who, if you met for the first time, you would think is an SW or an addict.

I haven't seen nearly as much action on the south end as I've seen on the north end ever since the stranger started his rampage. I did however score on a Sunday night a couple of weeks ago with Joanne. She was near Haggert and when I saw her glasses I thought I had found Michelle from CJ's reports.
