How does an active duty cop not spot an obvious sting? It's not like they really do a very good job of disguising what they're doing when they set these stings up. It's always two older, mostly housewife looking girls working one way too obvious spot, never moving or walking the ave, and the whole cavalry parked just out of sight around an obvious corner no monger would ever dare try to pick up a girl from. I usually pick up the ones that are constantly moving. I have them walk a few blocks to a side street and never discuss business until they are in the car and I am already driving down the street that way I am sure. In a way I feel kind of bad for that cop, his reputation is now demolished. So if it is only in that area of the perimeter, then it is a no go, it has to be on a blind spot area and not in the open. If it feels like you're on the open, then you'll probably be on a sting operation.

It's extremely rare for them to use a house or apartment for a sting, so that's unlikely. Boston has a residency requirement, although I suppose it's possible he was violating it and living in Lynn (I know a bunch of police, fire, and ems, were fired a few years ago because they were caught living outside the city). But I doubt they were running a sting for guys looking for outcalls, they just don't do that very often because the logistics tend to be much more involved. Plus they end up with fewer arrests, and substantially increased man-hours. It just isn't cost effective.
The most likely assumption is that they were running a sting on the street.

I've just never felt comfortable finding daylight spots to do the deed in Boston. Other cities it's not so much of an issue, but Boston just has too many people for my comfort level. It usually takes me 30 to 45 minutes to get off, so I need a nice secure location where we won't be interrupted or attract attention. Not easy to find a spot like that in Boston during the day.

Plus I've always been a night person, I sleep from 6am until noon most days.

Went cruising around few days ago and OMG never seen so many cops. Not going near there ever. It was blue lights one on every block.

Took a drive through as I was returning from Boston from an event around 2am. Was dead quiet, saw what could have been 1 late-30 just north of BK but wasn't sure; otherwise that was it.

BHA was pretty dead late last night. I only counted two BSWS the whole time while I'm strolling, one on Brunswick and the other nearby the Roxbury Gas Station. I got them both for $20 each. The first was tall light skinned and too chatty for my tastes. Could not get the deed done at all. I've been doing the Dot. Av loop lately, and there hasn't been much of anything out there. Outside of the day or two after the bombings where Uncle LEO was making a PR statement by sitting on every intersection with lights on, Uncle LEO hasnt been around much. Aunt Leo will walk between Hoyt and Dewar, or just stand at the corner of Dewar and Dot ave. Usually they hide the wagon and cruisers on Auckland St between Dewar and Bay, and have unmarked (usually a minivan or SUV) on Dot ave to keep an eye on Aunt Leo. Easy to spot if you pay attention, and circle the block a couple times before making the pickup. Of course I have lost some hotties because I won't make a pick up without circling at least twice first, but better safe than sorry.

Was out and about on Dot last night around 11pm to 1am making multiple loops from Andrew to Tedeshis near Fields corner, Spotted the young BSW wearing a white hooded sweater and blue jeans. They even had one cop laying on the ground under a blanket looking like a bum. But if something happened he was only feet from the decoy. But in my opinion the cop decoys are usually way to hot for dot ave. It just don't look right. But I have seen many get busted.
