Not telling you to avoid your favorite providers, but be aware of the reasons for a crack down and be a smart shopper. I have an acquaintance in the area that has his ear to the ground. Be safe out there.

I have always enjoyed the table shower experiences before the massage. Even the fancier spas offer some type of shower/ sprays before the massage starts. I certaintly hope any new ones opening up will include the shower. If I am coming from a workout from the gym then it is a big plus for the spa to offer a shower first!

Here's a report. Went to Enliven. Can't remember the lady's name, but she's older, pushing 50, very small. Kind of disappointing visit. She answered phone three times during session. Very uninspiring massage. Very mediocre ending -- lots of "oh yeah baby" but she ignored my requests to slow down and was way too rough. Clearly she wanted me to finish up. May try another place next time, if there are any.

I know people here hide their identities here and some for good reasons. How do you guys feel if I were to keep "our" information in some kind of database or outlook contact file? It wouldn't be located at my place of business or home either.

I wanted to keep this info so I can contact customers who have special requests either by cell phone or a diferent email etc. Also if I were to ever move I can take my customers with me by contacting them if need B. BC me since enough was said here already.

In general I find recording of phone records and e-mail in databases of customers scary considering how many times that an agency or independent has had to turn them over to those getting too nosy. In addition no matter where you keep it, it could be stolen as other records are kept and be used for even more nefarious things.

Don't most mongers have a hobby phone(prepaid no contract) and a throw away email (yahoo, msn, gmail etc) address?

I am not newsworthy. So anyone finding information (even if it was tracable back to me, which a hobby phone and bs email are not) in someone's book, or email contacts is not going to do anything.

Unless you are caught in the act what can they do to you? Your name in someone's db is not going to do much.

Think of all the drug dealer phones and pagers confiscated over the years full of numbers, do you think they have the time and resources to track down all those people who may or may not have bought drugs from someone? Or to set up a bunch of individual stings to catch drug users?

I get it that no one wants to be embarassed by having information made public, but that is the point of hobby phones and generic email.

Yes I have a prepaid cell. I wonder if they are keeping track of the MapQuest searches? You know, looking up that new massage parlor to find out where it is.

People here hide their identities for a good reason. It depends how much info you are asking. If you are happy with a prepaid phone number and anonymous e-mail address then most wont have a problem giving you the info.

Some providers and agencies do a screening process. I never have and never will see a provider or use an agency that asks for my real name or a work phone number.

Went to Papaya on Friday afternoon. I noticed the mamasan is the same one who used to operate 112. I like her because she always makes a point to ask if I am satisfied with the services. I can also report they are operating on the same business model that they did with 112.

I've seen her before. I believe she is the mamasan.

I dropped in just after noon on Mar 10 and nobody answered the door, all the blinds were drawn too with no lights on inside. A half hour later I dropped by again with the same result. Did something happen there? Are they still in business?

This is where I had my first massage I had in the US, it was about six months ago. I wrote about Tina and her skilled massage technique and good enough HE. A forum member PMed me a few months ago and said that the HE was no longer on offer. Since I wanted a good massage, I stopped by there again to check it out. Tina is still there with her great technique. Although she very purposefully brushed up against Mick and the Boys, there was no HE.

Perhaps something made the establishment nervous and they've drawn in their horns a bit, only to let them out for their regular customers. Since I had only been there once six months ago, she probably wasn't sure about me. Her massage really is first rate, to be enjoyed especially if you're the athletic type, so I'll be back again in a week or so and see if we can reconnect. 80/20 Yak

It's been quite a while since my last expedition into the wilds on NOVA for a massage, and since Evergreen was closed when I stopped in last week I diverted to NSP.

Mama threw me quite a few questions so I think they are nervous about something. Yuri(???) was sent to my room and in a few minutes gave me a comprehensive TS. Later, back in the room, she displayed no evident massage skills but was very friendly and affectionate. She's quite nice to look at, and so was the other masseuse on duty who took a look at me on my way out.

I like a good massage so this really isn't the place for me, only for a back-up maybe. Yak

On Gallows Road. In Fairfax. Older lady. She gave an excellent massage. No extras. Massage lasted 1 hr. Will wonders never cease! Nobody else was there. Quiet. Best of all the price was $60 per hour. They advertise on CL.

I called ahead for an appointment (not knowing the name had changed). So the signage surprised me, and so did the lackluster greeting by Rubie/Ruby.

I know several have a great MT/client relationship with Rubie/Ruby, but for whatever reason, she and I just don't connect on any level.

But still, rather than passing me to another (when I called ahead I asked for ***** (but she was not working today), Ruby took me to the usual room, took the usual fee, brought me the change and off to the TS

OK, I was going to score this a 5, but objectively, a 6 is fair. But although I left clean, little fun and no massage with the suds today.

A dry towel on my shoulders and back to the room for the massage.

For what seemed like 10 minutes, I was left alone (under towels thank goodness because it was cold). I can hear much talking out in the hall by several ladies.

Now enter the room. Jeannie/Genie. And all of a sudden I know things have just gotten better. Jeannie is a great provider with a super, fun way and attitude.

Massage: 8+

Her technique for medium-deep is exceptional. And her back-walking excellent. She is good.

Enjoyment. In aggregate. A 7+/8. But all the Jeannie parts were 9++

Farewell: Jeannie walked me to the door. Gave me a water, a hug, a pat and made me promise to return this weekend. If I do, I will report.

Just saw her today, Garden is a nice clean spa, very relaxing, easy enough parking to look like your going somewhere else in the complex. Amy was probably in her 40s but spoke perfect English, great massage worth just the massage then the flip good technique but nothing else on the menu.

Not my typical type but great relaxing spa with hot towel at the end and no upsell what so ever total $

I went back to Day Spa looking for Tina but she was busy. As it turns out they have another named Laura who is a bit chunky but better endowed as well. Laura and Tina both work for the full hour, fully draped and no HE. This time. I like the massages there even though they have no TS and seem to to have dropped HE off the menu. I'll try a few more times and see if I can crack the code. The place is a real spa and not a typical AMP. It has men and women's saunas and a number of treatments for the customer. I'm sure they have a customer base of K. Women primarily so they don't want to drive them away with a parade of dirty old men walking up with their tongues dragging. Tina was quite willing to give a HE six months ago, so I'll give it a few more attempts before I move on. Yak

Unless you want to buy a used car from Junior Samples, that is. Now we know how old we are.

At the suggestion of a member on another board, I trotted on out to Backlick Rd yesterday to try the offerings at TK Nails. I get the impression that Tina is rarely busy and I hope she's got enough traffic to stay in business, but from what I've seen I don't think she'll last long. The massage table is in the back and it's a pretty good one, in a small room that's completely enclosed. It has a heater for colder days but there is no shower. Tina is short, thick and fully dressed all the time, but one wonders if that shirt that isn't tucked in means goodies for the patient.

Her massage is one continuous application of oil, which actually feels pretty good when she's rubbing your arse but she's a one trick pony with that. I went for an hour and I thought she was never going to ask me to flip when the timer went off. She wasn't interested in stopping because she had virtually nothing else to do. I rolled over anyway and she went right to work on the ending. It was just fine, then she went to get a hot towel and got most of the oil off but, Jesus, there was a lot of it by that time. At .6 for an hour it was a nice diversion for the day. I didn't get ambitious with any roaming but maybe I'll try more if I go back soon enough that she still recognizes me. Tipped her .2. Yak

Went to Panera on Broad this morning, and to my surprise I stumbled upon two Latina therapists...and very cute ones at that! Apparently, most of the old Asian staff is gone, but a couple remain. I learned they now added three Latina therapists, and they are operating under a new name and new management.

I was surprised to learn the news, but the latina therapist who greeted me was cute as a button, too tempting to pass, so I stayed and gave it a shot. Being the first time I learn about these major changes, I was very cautious. I did not even leave the wallet, roses, and keys sandwich on the table. The therapist was very nice and sweet, massage was ok. At the end, she asked how I felt. I said ok. And she called the massage over. I don't know if she was waiting for me to make the first move...being the first time she saw me. I did not give any indication I needed the extra work and so it was not offered. Maybe I should have left the roses on the table when I was first left in the room to get ready to indicate I needed extra work.

I hope others can visit the place, and please LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY LUCK! I will give it another try too, and hopefully now that the therapist knows me she'll be more relaxed, and next time I see her I'll leave the keys and stuff on the table.

Visited NSP late last week. I drew a girl who said her name was Mickey. Her English was actually ok. She was nice to talk to and friendly. The TS was warm and she cleaned m e thoroughly. She dried me off and we went to the room. She had me lay down and proceeded to give me what was more of a bodyrub than a massage. I could have given her more guidance and asked for a backwalking, but I had just left from a long day at work so I decided to relax. She did not rush the bodyrub. They said May was available. Was at Green in no time. Mamasan took the house fee and sent in May. Now, May is 8 in body, 7 in looks, 6 in attitude. She doesn't like it when we ask for stuff. She says it will happen in good time. So, I did it her way.

TS was satisfactory. She doesn't play with Jr as much I like. But I got clean and dry. Good massage with lots of hot towels and back walking. Not as hard massage as I like, but good massage for about 40 mins. Then the soft teasing which she did nicely and then the flip.

I asked her to lose her clothes. And she started bargaining. How much would I pay? Standard NOVA. How much is standard NOVA?. 40. No, standard NOVA is. 60 and for that clothes won't come off. I held firm and for. 60 clothes came off. Man, she looks good. Lean, tall. Nice B's. Small ass, though. She lay next to me and fed her nips to me. She kissed me all over. Paid attention to my nips. I was scanning CL looking for something to help make this trip more interesting and came across what looks like three new MPs holding grand openings. The One that interests me most (primarily because of location) is Papaya Theropy. However, I'm a little hesitant to visit a place that I don't know anything about. The fact that three are holding grand openings at the same time seems a little wierd to me as well.

Anyone had any experiences at these places-good/bad? I'd appreciate an info you might be willing to share with a visitor, but I understand being new to the forum your reluctance. PMs are appreciated with any info that might help me make my choice tonight or later this week. Or both:)

I know one of the places you are referring to, Crown. But this Grand Opening advertisement is bullshit. Crown, for instance, keeps advertising it's Grand Opening for what seems to be over half a year...

I think Papaya has been around for a while too, maybe under a different name.

Crown was ok, average AMP. Standard fees, average therapist, been there only once.

All the info you need is already on this board, use the search function.

Victory at last. I dropped into see Tina again at Sun's Day Spa and things went back to as I remember them from the summer. Something tells me LE has been around and you need to develop some trust there. She gives a good, skilled massage and will leave a smile on your face if you're a good boy. Yak

AMPs are like furniture stores. They open and close rapidly and have Grand Openings with each version but inside they remain the same. This is just an advertising gimick to make folks like you think there is something new and wonderful going on.

In short, the GRAND OPENING just doesn't mean anything.
