Tijuana Reports

That's a huge move in one trading session for this fund. This is all election fear but I will say that the peso has been in a long decline for awhile now, long before Mr. Trump's rise. I want to say I was noticing all time lows in the peso going back to last summer. Summer of '15. This probably has a lot to do with Mexico being an oil based economy and the price of oil down 50% since summer of '14. Moe.

Back in the day we drove to Senor Frogs and Papa's & Beer for the drunk US teens. Is that still happening? Would it be too expensive for a Taxi?

There was another report recently that there has been some muggings taking place in the evenings on Constituction by the Barbershops. Apparently there is groups of teen ratero's that hang out there wait to jump guys. The crime is really spinning out of control in Tijuana. Personally I am avoiding Tijuana in the evenings until things settle down. I am also a bit burned out on TJas well. Hopefully the new mayor will start to crack down.

It is important for everyone post any info about the crime in TJ and Zona. It is vitally important that we keep everyone up to date so that they do not become a crime victim in TJ. It might be a good idea to stop by the police station on Calle Primera and tell them what is happening..

Most crime goes unreported in Mexico. They don't care if you get mugged or have issues while your down there. They used to have a police station a little bit away from that barbershop. In my opinion, that's why this shit is happening. They're no longer there so problems are going to arise. Moe.

With all crime muggings taking place in Tijuana. I do not feel safe visiting Tijuana alone at night. So I think we should try and go with partners to visit Tijuana. If anyone wants to go with me. Please PM me. ?

Has anyone tried the standing girls at this corner? It's a few blocks out of the red zone, so I'm not sure of the risk.

That is a TV neighborhood and if that's your thing then have at it. I know some years back that area was pretty dangerous at night. I'm not sure if it still is. Moe.

I didn't bother trying to go there since it's about 5 blocks away from the north zone and the mugging posts even though there was a lot of local foot traffic on the streets and even people walking through alleys. One alley was closed off by police. There was an empty building next to their truck either being built or torn down.

I only know of this area being a shemale spot because sometimes when I catch a taxi out of ZN they drive west on Calle primera and do the loop around to get back to the border. I've never walked down there but I don't think it's far. Maybe like 2 or 3 blocks. There's also a motel called el deseo down that way and another motel that's attached to a billiard hall. It always strikes me as kind of strange. Some of the he / she's are passable and look quite good but not my thing. As far as it being dangerous today I'm not quite sure. I know years ago there were a lot of corrupt cops, muggings and shemales that would be aggressive in that area. I haven't heard much in recent times but I wouldn't be walking down there late at night. If you do make a trip over or stay in one of the motels please report. Moe.

Hargow.[/QUOTE]Next time I go I'll PM you. I don't go often but the holidays are coming up and I'm sure I'll be heading down at some point. I wouldn't be freaked out if your a seasoned veteran. Just keep your guard up and don't get too sloppy drunk while walking around. Don't want to get mugged in Tijuana?? Don't dress flashy and leave the gold chains, watches and jewelry at home and don't get drunk to the point where it's noticeable. Moe.

Went for a late lunch. I keep wanting to try Maiz but then I don't want to pay for a Taxi both ways. I have never tried the Taco stands. The place across from HK is where the employees eat. Last time I met a tine girl in the play boy club but they charged me 45 for the VIP room which is insane for Tijuana but with her tiny ass keeping the flag pole raised for 3 hrs, I didn't complain. During the day you can see that even the petite girls that look like teens at night are not. Friday and Saturday may be the only day time worth going. There were 2 or 3 cute standing girls and only one that looked under 21. There were a lot of locals walking around and crowded on the surrounding streets on the way back to the border. I did venture a few blocks. On one there was a guy laying in a doorway with his pants below his naked rear end (WTF? The only other streets worth going to off cohilla and revolution are the ones with the clubs and I think there's a burger king and maybe some stores. I was going to try one of the barber shops but I stayed way too long already.

I normally don't wear a watch unless I decide to leave the phone. I wear t-shirt, jeans, sneakers so from a distance I don't look gringo. Chica money (20's) in one pocket, beer and tip (5, 10,1's) in another. I pull my t-shirt out to cover my cell phone and if I forgot to leave the wallet. I use the standing girls as an excuse to turn around and look behind me. I don't bother to respond even with a no to anyone I don't trust. I have not walked there but I have walked back to ped west only. I have not returned on the east side since a taxi driver jacked me for 20 during rush hour. It was day time and traffic was backed up for miles. He said he knew a long way around so we didn't have to wait in bumper to bumper traffic and wanted 25. I said no way, take me back. I agreed to 20 since I was lost and may not have seen another taxi. Ped west has always been empty compared to the 2+ hour walk line on the east side. Yes you can go through the gate with a ready card but that's still a 15-30 min wait unless you have sentry then 5 min. Today ped west no regular lines. Redi lane had a 5 person line and no one in sentri.

Muggings update.

Recent reports indicate there has been quite a few muggings by Nino's Hero's and Calle Primera st. The key is always look behind you especially where is not other people around.

I have been trying to locate this one new US girl named Ashley that works in the Zona. Ashley is tall and thin and has dark blonde hair. Supposedly her hair is short now and has some red in it. I found her about 2 weeks ago, but was just with another girl. So decided to skip her. I will be probably be heading down on Wednesday evening around 6 pm. So anyone wants to go just PM me.
