So the other day I was going to see a provider and got pulled over. Check my info and gave me a ticket. He started asking questions like: where are you going? Why is your destination so far from home? Are you doing anything illegal?

Since I had nothing in the car to incriminate me, pot smell for instance, I told him I didn't understand why that mattered and that since I had the ticket and no record I wanted to go. He told me to have a nice day and let me go.

Exercise your rights to not incriminate yourself. Where you're going or coming from isn't their business. If they really suspect you of a crime, they'll take you in. Otherwise they'll fish and you could easily give them a reason to take you in.

That being said, if she and you are careful with LEO checks you should be fine.
