Of course, I don't take it on an empty stomach with a glass of wine, either.

I have used both viagra and cialis. I prefer cialis, but purchased some online once and they didn't work for like 4 to 6 hrs like your mentioning. I was basically robbed because upon examining the package I found that they had expired in 2009. Just trying to help.
