So this morning I received a call from a phone number in Iowa. Since I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer. They called back 2 more times, again I didn't answer. About 2-3 minutes later I got a threatening text saying they know me, my address etc and they have guys ready to take action unless I pay this person $2 K. Has anyone experienced this?
I think it's time to get a burner phone.

It was a San Diego number, The only place's I had called were some of the Asian agency and when we texting back and forth I was trying see if I could get them to give me a qv hour rate, that's all you get and must have pissed someone off.
How they get your information is by using one of the Verified sites, just like they use to verifies you. In the text they sent the name's they had. My ex-wife and her family members were on it, is how I new.

I haven't received anything like that but back when I had a landline I used to get these calls (voicemails as I never answered) threatening me with legal actions if I didn't call them. I've never used that phone to arrange anything so it was just random and nothing to do with my extracurricular activities.
