I know people have warned about her before, and I've gotten fooled before, but here's more confirmation that regular responder Alyssa is a fake. I've met Alyssa twice (the girl in the glen ellyn area). The pic she sends is not her but an approximate likeness. She does try and bid you up but I have yet to meet someone who won't. Both times were enjoyable and I'd recommend her if you are looking for someone who straddles the pro / non pro line. I decided to revisit craigslist's personals. I'm actually having some decent luck on 'casual encounters. W4m'. The usual timewasters and spammers are still there, too. It seems the trick is to weed out the scam-bots and reply to the ads as soon as they're posted, because the real ones get flagged almost immediately (at which point the craigslist remailer stops passing replies to them.

When craigslist started running everything through the remailer it cut the scams. For about 10 minutes, because the scammers started putting alternate e-mail addies in their ads. So, if you see an ad with an alternate (usually mangled) e-mail address, its a scam, pass.

All my e-mails to the rest include a line telling them to reply to: <my throwaway monger e-mail addy because the remailer will cut them off if they get flagged. So far, it's working. Actually caught up with a girl I saw once a couple of years ago and lost touch. In negotiations with several others. More on this story as it develops.

Craigslist may be coming back (until somebody else fucks it up).

Craigslist was Awesome when the Erotic Section was on there. I found a decent Provider in her mid 20's. She was one of the last Providers I found until that Boston Guy murdered that Massage Girl he found on Craigslist. It always takes just 1 guy to ruin it for everyone else.
