I also found quite a few good girls when they could advertise in the "services" section of newspapers under "massage". Also found a few in the private ad section of gentlemens pages; that was also some time ago. Good old days.

Last thing they would need is to get busted right now. I mean sure, I would love to see Sophia again, but I have pretty much moved on. I will admit I have not moved on to much of anything, tried a few here and there but nothing worth wanting to repeat.
There's been a lot of speculation about whether the massage parlours will reopen or not. I'm in the 'not' camp myself, and I think this little incident did not help the case for letting them reopen.

Risk to himself and the girls. I am sure they all need money, but it may be time to look for a legit job. No chance that any of these places reopen in Belvidere. Sad ending for many of us and the girls who worked there. Still have to think the Lingerie shops in Rockford are next on the agenda and unfortunately they are endangered operations. But not to worry the murder rate is up in Rockford.

It's over for sure now, and we now know why he needs the 50 K. On a side note, Dawn is 50 years old? Wow, there are women half her age who wish they had a body like hers.

Two things about this story amaze me. The first is the guy is the only one looking at a felony charge. Yet he decided to violate a court order with his "creative" theory to try to reopen. That didn't work out to well. There is a new County Attorney who is female. I'm sure she is looking for a trophy to hang from the wall. If I was in this situation my concern would be trying to avoid being a guest of the state of Illinois.
The second is if you were lucky enough not to be working when the place went down, why would you go back there to work? Multiple eyes would be on the place and most clients would avoid it. I get that you need the money but you have just seen several of your former coworkers real names and photos in the media. Some clearly decided the risk was worth taking.
These places are toast. Belvidere is looking at starting to license businesses, they don't currently do that. They can come up with all kinds of stipulations to restrict this type of business. Well it was fun while it lasted. Have some great memories.

For the general interest of the community, someone should file a public interest motion with the appropriate court to get answers to these questions. It might dig up some interesting facts and background story on the nexus between business and politics in that town.
1. Do you have evidence that there operations were harmful to the community?
2. You say their crime is not a victim less crime. Who are the victims and are they going to testify?
3. This business has been in operation for 40 years. When do you come to know they were harmful to the community?
4. For all these years who were hiding the facts about their victimizing operations? Can those victims seek justice and compensation from the city for not doing anything for 40 years?

Here we go;.
Answer to, #1) "Oh yes your honor there were little girls peeking in the doorway honest your honor, I really saw them".
Answer to #2) "Oh your honor they would like to testify but they are so traumatized they just can't speek, so we should move forward with the Business Licensing Law and we won't be issuing any Massage parlor or similar heath license".
Answer to #3) "Your Honor as we stated publically, we have tried in the past with raids but due to the increase in other asian style parlors and possible human trafficking It is best for the community to go forward with the licensing clause at this time".
And finally.
Answer to #4) "Your honor, due to the change in ownership at ERS the business plan "MUST" have altered from it's type from the previous owner (begins with a K) and this plan now in use has been lax to the present rules and laws, as evidenced by the present attempt at re-opening".
There; now try and drive a truck through that bullettproofing.
Before after the first bust, there might be some slim chance. But now you can pretty much forget all of it. That guys got an increased bond from 20 k up to 50 k and he's up against 3 felonies. He's got a prison now to try and stay out of. Any more movement at ERS and he will for sure be sent away for a very long long time.
You can now reminisce about the good times and nice looking ladies, because they are now for sure all gone. Along with absolutely anything else in Belvedere. Only thing there now is a Chrysler plant.

I have no idea what you're trying for here. CLV and ERS will NOT be re-opening in Belvidere, period. If you take the timeTo read the forum, and evidently you don't, you would know the city has done everything it can to prevent "spas" or "massage Parlors" or "lingerie modeling shops" from opening again. Maybe you don't feel the need to read the forum. Or maybe you're a 'cousin' of uncle LEO fishing for information. In either case, find a new hobby.

If you had spent the time reading that you have spent asking for answers you would already know the answer, even if you do read slowly. Try reading the Rockford forums or other areas of Illinois. The answers are there. And my other suggestion is stop asking here, the guys have had enough, at least until you give back some valuable information and experiences. Good luck.
Oh I checked your 20 posts. 19 are basically asking for information or useless comments. 1, maybe 1 actually gave some information. And I am being generous. This forum is a 2 way street and most of us want to see newbies earn their way.
