The split shouldn't matter when tipping
Just for information. The standard split on the asian AMP door fee:
Girl get $10 on the $60 1/2 hr & $20 on the $80 hr.
It's not like we are using a proportionate scale as is applied in most service industries which is typically 15% of the cost of the product or service. Nor do you consider the minimum wage your waitress at Denny's is earning when it comes time to tip her. What a massuse get's from the door fee is not our business. If we considerd scale, we'd be leaving $9 to $15 based on 60 and 80. If we are being asked to consider thier end of the door fee, what standard of living are you attempting to fund for them? Where are the limits? This makes no sense.
So we are left to our own devices. In this case we are arbitrarily tipping based on the effort and quality of the services. Imagine if no HE was provided. Would you not tip at all? I for one have always tipped my massuse in a legit place and it has always been based on 15% of the cost at the door.
So I consider only the effort and quality when I go to RB and Lilly's and Spa74 etc. Regardless of the amount of time I bought, because the amount of time spent on the HE is almost always the same either way. A standard HE like I get at Lillys with a decent massage deserves no more than a single Jackson. Even Suzie only gets 1 Jackson from me because she has always demonstrated early to achieve limits after the flip. But Monica has generous and demonstrated a more libral approach. Albeit I will not submit her name for cannonization as others here would, I do leave her with 2 Jacksons and she is always happy with me.
Lastly, I don't think that this discussion has any influence on the market rates in CLT and definitely will not change a thing in that regard. But I hope it gives us all some food for thought.
