ERS is closed, but CLV is still open.
Is this correct?
CLV is not open. Belvidere is still shutdown. Will ERS or CLV ever open again? Doesn't look good.
ERS is closed, but CLV is still open.
Is this correct?
That's right, Brad. You have REALLY been paying attention. If you go to CLV between noon and 12:30, mention Big Barb and you'll get half off you're total package.
Isn't that right Senior members?

Is this correct?
Call CLV, I think you will be surprised, and not pleasantly. Laughing with Stinky.
Just read about the Belvidere shutdown.
I don't live anywhere near Belvidere or Illinois. Still, ever since I first drove through about 8 years ago, I was sure to make a stop any time I was nearby. ERS (and CLV) were special places and offered an experience that's really hard to find.
Truly a dark day.
Any one know where the girls landed. They're is a few I would to get full service from. Pm me with any details.
Any one know where the girls landed. They're is a few I would to get full service from. Pm me with any details.
I'm kind of amazed at the utter laziness or just lack of smarts of one of our members. (By the way this is not directed at you Biscuit I just replied to the latest post) How could anyone think that ANY place was open in Belvidere right now. Every post, and I do mean every post in this section has been talking solely about the same topic- the topic of the year in the Belvidere section- all of the places in Belvidere are closed. There hasn't been one post that has said, "good news such and such is now open". So I'm kind of at a loss as to where the confusion would come from.
Not trying to pile on and I'm not going to call the member out specifically, but man make an effort- read like at least a few posts before you write something that off base. Okay end of rant.
Thank you very much for info.
But, let me tell you one thing.
Not everyone spend hours here.
And, I am not understanding abbreviation or figurative language.
For example, I do not know what uncle joe or LEO means.
Just yes or no would be greatly appreciated.
I think the chances of them making it through this and coming out operating on the other side is slim, but that said, wouldn't you think their fund raiser should have some incentives?
Donate $150 get your first session free.
Donate $500 and get first five sessions free.
Donate $2500 get half off sessions for first year.
Donate $5000 VIP for life.
I am not saying those are the right ones, but some type of carrot hung out there would likely greatly improve donations.
This is what they need to do. I would gladly donate then.

.
Look bud, you don't have to spend hours here, just a few minutes and read a few pages unless it takes you hours to read just one page.

Just yes or no would be greatly appreciated.
I would say that's a major exaggeration. It doesn't take hours to go through a page or two of posts that are no more than a paragraph long. When I started I just read the forum, got familiar with it and didn't post anything for a long time. If you and other newbies are going to be that lazy I wouldn't expect a lot of help from the senior members on here. Instead try to add value to the forum by posting actual reviews of your experiences instead of asking certain questions like, Is such and such open yet? I mean besides just scrolling down and reading a page or two on here- you have a phone you could have called them up or you could have googled their website too. Another common mistake new members ask, How is such and such spa?
A lot of good info is on here and is right in front of you. Before the internet there was no forum we just had to find out for ourselves. This forum is great. If I want to learn about a place I'll research it first. And it doesn't take hours to do this. It's not a college paper. If I don't see anything then I'll ask. Anyway that's my advice.
All the good places I've found were very discovered by getting in my car and going to try them.

Both of my thumbs are pointing up for both of these comments. Speaking of thumbs, a good rule of thumb to follow is at least get familiar with the fundamentals and basics. Don't ask a lot of questions and 'contribute' as much and wherever you can. I was a lurker for a long time which helped me learn the ropes.
All the good places I've found were very discovered by getting in my car and going to try them.
I agree. I found these places years ago before the Internet. Yellow pages and word of mouth. I think it was more fun that way. I found ERS and CLV in the yellow pages, sucked it up and walked in. It was a great time.
