If you go late morning, early afternoon you shouldn't have a problem walking even if your unsure where you are going. There's some areas of Tijuana that can be real dark and isolated at night. Just depends on what day your down there and how late at night you are walking around. Moe.

Then again, I might stay at the casino on the border which seems relatively safe. A question about that especially to people that stayed there before. First, is the bridge nearby that lets you cross the river dangerous, I mean would I get robbed trying to cross? Should I get a taxi to take me to ZN instead? Two, do they allow call girls / escort into the Casino?

First, a disclaimer, I have not been to Tijuana since the changes so I can't address that. Others have. I take the trolley from SD to the end and walk across. Once across the border you can see the arch which is the gateway to the Zona. Just head that way, maybe a ten minute walk from the old entry, again, can't speak for the new way in. There has always been a steady stream of civilians on the path. Just follow along. As for the foot bridge across the sewer, I mean, river, again, usually plenty of people walking across and often a cop or two standing around. I did make a wrong turn one time but realized it within a few steps, turned around and rejoined the crowd. It would be nice if there were clear signs, but there are a few on the return to the US. That helps. As others have suggested, if you have a concern spring for a cab both ways. Once in the Zona you can stay in that block that Hong Kong and Adelitas is in (they are next door to each other) and the alley behind them and you will have your pick of about a hundred ladies of every description and a half dozen or so clean cheap hotels. I always feel like if I stay around general population types like school children, non hooker type ladies, families, street vendors, and so forth, it is hard to get in trouble. The Zona is just one neighborhood in the city and the general population walks through pretty much ignoring the blue light trade. That part can be a bit surreal.

To me, the lure is the legal atmosphere, all transactions out in the open. Disneyland for Mongers. The good food, cheap beer and reasonably priced pussy is a big plus.

Be aware of your surroundings but it's quite different from wandering around at 1 am. I wouldn't worry. I'm not sure about chicas doing outcalls to a casino in sd. I doubt it. My take is the zona has everything you need. Motels / hotels, bars and girls. Taxis are everywhere in this city. I recommend them for people who are not sure where they are going. They'll try to to get you to go to an MP. Tell them your not interested and to bring you to HK or AB. Sometimes they can be stubborn. Good motels in the zona that I've stayed at are hotel leyva, rizo de oro and Ibiza. Hope this helps. Moe.

Camera3, thanks I will probably opt to get a cab and tell him to go to whatever hotel I booked. This is the safest bet of avoiding getting taken on a ride.

I've stayed there twice in the past month and the first time they put me on the third floor and it was quiet. Last week when I stayed there the tv's weren't working upstairs so they put me on the second floor. Very noisy from the music at malquerida and girls walking around at all hours with their cloghoppers. I won't stay here again unless it's a 3rd floor room. Overall very similar rooms to rizo de oro and for 20 dollars cheaper. Not bad. Moe.

It was the only place where I found a room on a Saturday night for fifty bucks. It was on the third floor and she can still feel the techno music booming early in the morning.

Went there and got one for 50,10 dollar deposit that I got back the next morning. The second time was on a Tuesday night last week. 30 dollars and 10 dollar deposit. I like its location but don't recommend staying there unless it's a third floor room. Very noisy. Moe.

However, some of it is outdated in a sense, I started reading about all this recent PedWest bridge crossing. Been planning this trip for about one month. Rented a car from enterprise. Cruised the car to the otay mesa side. Listened to the reports by parking the car by the ihop. Can't miss it. Followed the crowds cross the border with no hassles compared to the san ysidro side. Took the taxi to the zona. First stop was the Rio verde bar. Been there before and its a mostly locals bar. Then went to the malquerida bar. It sort of resembles a mini hk bar. They had four strippers dancing on those poles and one butt naked dancing on the floor. Then I went next door to the la carretta bar. A waiter brought up some chicas but I termed them down. I saw one chica with a nice smile. Waited about twenty minutes to ponder my decision. He came back and told him to bring her back. He made a quote which I thought was high. So I termed him down. He went down to seventy five bucks for everything including the room. Her name is yarida. She is small with a nice round booty and a sexy body. When she took off her clothes that's when I saw her sexy noodie body. She did a BBBJ. Hopped on top and rode me froggy style until I could not hold anymore and exploded. I went to the hk bar and that place was packed like it was a Saturday night. I gave her every last dollar and was actually short of her quote but she said she didn't care. I asked if she would drive me to the line but she said she didn't have a visa. I tried to reword but couldn't and was afraid of getting her scared or in trouble. So google navigation sucked, even clicking on walk. To my surprise after a few blocks down and one right I was in the heart of downtown plaza I think and I saw a sign with USA. There was a pedestrian bridge to cross the freeway and then I was at Ped West. It didn't take any longer than the taxi would have. At 4 am there was only a couple people and no lines at all.

I heard yesterday that there is a new young blonde WSW US girl in Tijuana. I have been hoping to find a new young blonde for awhile. Also heard that she lives in the US which is strange. Going to head to Tijuana this evening and see if I get lucky. I typically do not head to TJ on Friday or Saturday's, but this seems like a worthwhile trip.

WOW! What a place. I loved it. Went on Saturday and it was crackin! I expected much more Halloween costumes in general at zone norte but an HK girl told me Halloween was celebrated the past Wednesday which I thought was weird. I found out that going to Tijuana on a budget plays tricks to the horny ***** monger. I fell for buying the hot strippers a drink at HK's twice which costed me $9 each time. Plus the $5 cover charge and $21 private lapdance. I will say it was a hot lapdance and definitely worth 21 bucks LOL. However, at HK's all these little charges and tips for the stupid waiters adds up. If you're on a budget go straight to Adelitas. Yes HK's has all the 9 & 10's of Tijuana but Adelitas has no cover charge with girls that are 7-9's. Plus to do everything with the girl is 70 bucks at the hotel next door opposed to paying 80 bucks at HK's. Plus the girls at Adelitas are there to fuck they know what's up. Whereas in HK's there can be lap dances and more room for miscommunication if you don't speak Spanish (wish I do). I was really tempted to try the dozens and dozens of hot SW's standing outside. This blew my mind! Definitely next time, at least 5 of those SW's LOL. I will return, with more spending money, much smarter and informed, and it will be glorious. I love you Tijuana.
