Before CL changed their adult listings to the newer model there were tons of these scams posted there all the time.
There's no way the can "verify" you through this site, it's just a trick to get you to buy a crappy webcam membership. The link they give is an affiliates link so the webcam people know who gets paid. Clickthrough affiliates get a percentage of the take.
