Some people hate it because they can't go to Walmarts (or where ever) and buy boxed software that 'installs' itself. Me, I love it because it is both free and extremely secure. It kept saying type in a code to unlock the laptop or send them 400 dollars so they could unlock it. I was just shocked after a few months my laptop worked again.
