Korean Bar Reports

I checked out Green Tee Sunday night. I should have know when I pulled into the parking lot that it was going to be bad. I think the parking lot was barely half full. Inside, there were only 3 customers and 3 older fuglies. After drinking a beer and watching a roach crawl across the counter behind the bar, I had enough.

Then I checked out Cleopatra. I think this place might have been the only bar in Kalihi that wasn't completely dead. They were about 1/3 full. There were a few ladies and 2 semi-cute young girls, but they were busy with customers. I called it a night and left. I did a final drive around the area and saw that CK Lounge only had 2 cars in the lot. Probably the worker's cars. I thought they used to be more popular than that. There was also a white Dodge Charger police car patrolling through the area. I'll probably check both of tonight's bars on a busier night. It was kind of good that I struck out tonight. The drop in my income has pretty much cut my activities in half. I only go out half as much as I used to. Oh well, be safe out there guys.

I think it is someone else as both of them speak well. The person writing these reports is definitely a FOB as there are many grammatical errors. Those errors are typical of someone that speaks/writes English as a second language.

I am glad that someone else saw the same thing I did about 5 posts being directed at Kelly. Btw, I didn't even see Kelly there on Saturday night so I was skeptical of the report.

I know that I don't know everything, so I'm not saying that I do, but I think it's funny when "Grandmaster" Hinode asks such a question like "where is Club Business located" so innocently. I guess I can still fondly remember master H's newb reports not so long ago(a few years I am guessing) which were also quite innocent and open... so my point being that it is the opposite of some current newbs saying how master H is such an OG recently. You hit it right on the head, Steve09. I'm no GrandMaster like Kapalua and Idol.

The answer/reason for that is because I do not frequent K/V bars. I never have, with the exception of LH back in the day. It was the OGs from back then (think: Kapalua and co) who gave me their expert advice, and I had many memorable moments there.

I am more of a AMP and DT guy. Which is why I post more/most of my reports in those said sections.

Or sometimes...I've been asked to keep my mouth shut, and keep my goodies to myself. So I'll respect that, and keep quiet due to providers' requests.

I think I've been fair and honest with all of my reports, albeit after my BB service thread got closed down due to flamers, debaters, and haters, I will say I have silently slipped into the shadows and become more of a ...lurker more now than what I used to be so openly willing to TOFTT and post every-single-session.

Let's put it this way; in that Kapiolani area, the last time I've been there was when ..I think the KB called "Evergreen" was called ..."New Office."

I think the main reason bars changed names so often was to fool the HLC. They have so much problem with the HLC that one more violation, the HLC would pull their license or suspend them. To avoid that, they would pretend to transfer to a new owner; and the pretended new owner would have a clean plate to work with. A lot of times, though, name changed means a new owner has come in, and again, the new owner might have problem getting the license from the HLC, instead of transfer the license, they just change the name only and pretend that it was still under the old owner. It's a very tricky business out there.

Sometimes the owner mama wants to take a break and leases the place out for a year or 6 months and takes it back when the lease is up. You see it in kalihi with cheers station and pink rose (now casablanca? ) the mama took back her bar so pink rose left when the lease was up.

Many times the bar has many violations and so another person takes over as the mama. The original mama may still work there but a new mama will run the place. The violation still have to be settled though but the changeover will prevent the bar from closing due to outstanding violations. I heard that it's harder to apply for a new license than to take over an existing license, if you look at the lc meeting reports you will see licenses changing names a lot for whatever reason.

Speaking of violations, the Fire Inspectors did a walk-in at Butterfly (the kitchen). I think they got called on some items as the 2 of them sat down with the ms and went over/filled out some papers.

Had like 15 to 20 girls there, and 4 or 5 belong in an AMP cuz they're young and hot. The rest were 30's to 40's. One 40's milf had fat D's on display but like everyone else, she was real busy.
