I agree with you mate, insofar as everything you wrote is a distinct possibility. There's no denying that. I think you made three great points there.
The first was that we don't know it was poor hygiene. A truer statement there never was! However, given that brother ThreeMore didn't dispute it, I think the balance of probability is that hygiene was an issue.
The second was that a bathroom scrub down should have resolved the issue. Perhaps, but I'm not as sanguine on this point as you are. Unless our friend lathered up in her shower, I find it likely that a wet washcloth (or whatever he used) didn't get it done.
Third, that she was probably trying to make a quick buck by hustling him out. A definite possibility! However, if hygiene wasn't an issue, the faster approach may have been to finish him off, not wait for him to scrub down.
Anyway, I've read all twenty three posts by ThreeMore and find him to be credible, if a bit cryptic at times. And I meant it when I commended him for sharing. There was a lot of uncomfortable shit going on there, but he offered it up to a bunch of strangers so we wouldn't go through the same experience.
I still want to know about that money thing. I'm not too familiar with the game in Brevard, but the conventional wisdom in Volusia is that deposit = scam. Are there really legitimate providers here who get deposits? I don't think my heart could take it!
Cheers mate!
As to the hygiene issue, my default position is that the monger is presumptively in the right. Please note I said this is only a presumption. If the provider tells her side and I find it more likely, or credible or whatever, then I come off of the default position and take her side as being right. This default position is based on my belief that we're all here to share information and that the information is only helpful if it's accurate. I acknowledge that this is not always the case, guys may have an ax to grind, they may be displeased with the provider for whatever reason and, of course, sometimes providers disguise themselves as mongers. And, of course, there was a lot more to his review than the hygiene issue.
As to scams, yeah, I'm always thinking a "pay in advance" thing is a scam, not doing it!
