Re: Sexual Addiction and Priorities
I live modestly and make a decent living but am in no way wealthy or even well off by most standards. I believe it is kinda like exercise. People say they don't have enough time for exercise. If it is important enough you will find the time. If you are sexually addicted, raising my hand, you will find the means. BTW, does anyone here need a kidney? I've got an extra one and could use the cash.
Sexual Addiction?
You make it sound like it's a problem addiction like crack, meth, heroin, cocaine. "Sexual addiction" is a natural state. It's a part of evolution, it's in your fucking genes for survival of the species. I hope someone else has seen this National Geographic documentary because it's much funnier than I can describe it. There is a bad ass alpha male lion who has a small pride with two female lionesses and a few cubs. The documentary film makers suddenly find him abandon his 2 lionesses and his cubs and walks off, walking for miles. The Lionesses LEAVE their cubs and go after him. The documentary people are wondering what is going on. Then they realize, that the Lion has caught a scent of a lone young lioness miles up wind and he's left his 2 lioness, cubs and has been walking two days to get some new young pussy! He eventually catches up with the new young lioness, and grunts with sexual excitement. Unfortunately at the same time so do his 2 lionesses. His 2 lionesses go after the new pussy lioness intending to kill her. She flees for her life. The three then head back home to their cubs.
Now do we say, that the lion has a "sexual addiction" problem? Maybe he needs to see a therapist? No, he's doing what evolution has programmed him to do -- go after new pussy. The hunt itself is compelling. Then you see those tight young bodies, soft radiant skin, and perky curves, you get effortless hard with these new designer bodies. And it feels good, it feels satisfying, you feel alive and vibrant. You don't have a "sexual addiction" problem, you're fucking alive.
Priorities
Now the problem is priorities. If you are living paycheck to paycheck, you probably shouldn't be doing this or at least limit yourself to one a month or something. Just think of it as another phone bill. I am guilty of spending way too much but this is how I prioritize. Pay Bills, Save for Old Age, Get Pussy. So money always goes in 401 k if you have one, IRA for everyone, some emergency savings that should never sniff pussy. No debt except mortgage because interest could be used for pussy. I even sold my house because as a single person it made no sense. . But if you're married with family, this prioritization becomes difficult. So again, at worst case you'd have to limit yourself to one treat a month. But you don't really have an addiction problem, you just need to prioritize correctly according to how much you can afford in your situation.
