Was just curious if anybody out there on this site donates blood on a regular basis? I do and did the other day and always find it amusing the one question they want you to answer on the per-screen survey. They ask"(have you ever paid for sex in the last 6 months)". I assume they would not let you donate if you answer yes. Just wondering if anybody has or know someone that answered yes and what was the reaction. There is also a question about having sex with a man in the last six months also but that's a question for another board.

Most working girls are drug users and use needles, and using covers reduces the risk, it is not 100% safe. Condoms can fail. It's the same reason for sex with a man, the risk of HIV / AIDS.

The risk assessment of that blood having something unwanted is higher than their liability insurance will cover. This question is actually a BUSINESS question. Blood screening costs money, and paying for sex increases your chances of having your blood rejected after testing. They see you as either having sex for money to support possible IV drug use, or you having had sex with someone who does do IV drugs.

It's like that old STD adage, "When you're having sex, you're having sex with all the partners your partner has had sex with."
