Boarder Crossing Sunday 7/25/21
I want to cross the border into Tijuana this Sunday morning. I don't have "essential travel" reasons. I just want to have lunch with my lady friend. Will the Mexican Border Patrol Officers permit me to cross. I am white guy with no family in Mexico. Actually my travel is nonessential travel. What should I say or do to get across the boarder into Tijuana. Also, I'm fully vaccinated well I have any problems getting back across?
Do you need a passport by land?
Do you need a passport if you're crossing by foot or car?
Monday night or Tuesday morning trip
Driving down to TJ from LA if anyone wants to double team some ladies. Tell me a little about yourself in PM.

Tijuana Maps for newcomers
Hello all,
I ran across these JPG's that someone had shared with me a couple years ago, I think they might be handy for other newcomers and those needing a view around TJ. Hopefully they will be useful for some of you.
Passport card, ready lanes.
I was planning on getting my global entry card. When I looked up ready lanes, it shows that a passport card, or you can upgrade your drivers license to an enhanced I'd but California does not offer this yet.
I just googled what is ready lane.
Hopefully a veteran can elaborate. I have been down once and seemed to have gone into Mexico by unknowingly walking around the agents. I think in the past they never checked passports so it didn't seem unusual, Canada also.
Are you referring to the Real I. D. From the DMV? They are absolutely offering it. I'm being absolutely Carpet-bombed with emails to go back to the DMV because I renewed my license by mail last year. They're letting anyone who renewed their license last year upgrade to the Real I. D. For free since the pandemic stopped nearly everyone from applying. BUT it's still not the same thing as a global entry card. Those are two totally different programs.
