There's a lot of reasons why prostitution should be legalized, but not being here to debate an issue which may never happen in our lifetime, consider prostitution in the Domincan Republic.
I just returned in August from a 3 year assignment, and although married, found a need to go out of the house occassionally. Prostitution is legal there. Period. However,
The law was written to make it illegal, and strictly enforced, to manage or pimp a girl. Entire hotels have emerged called Cabanas which rent a room for about $10 for 2-3 hours.
Some of these are incredibly elaborate, even with sex toys and equipment in rooms. You park your car in a private attached garage, and the door closes maintaining complete privacy.
