Perhaps fishy, but definitely stupid; perhaps even quite diabolically uncular
I have no idea if this is true or not but the whole "I took my friend to see her" strikes me as weird. What, did you drop him off, park the car, and wait? Do friends do this for each other?
From the BP post: "I have seen this provider before with no issues but it seemed like a set up because I never saw her come out so it would seem that she was not placed into custody. ".
Why should she ever come out of a hotel in North Carolina? After all, her name is Jenny K Nguyen and she is apparently in Hawaii: http://instaliga.com/jennyyk_/941656250910991780_21311240/all-likes.
So he took his friend to a provider who uses fake pics but did not go in with him to at least vet that it is the same girl he had (presumably) seen before. Was the phone number the same, indicating that she had been forced to snitch for her uncle? The number belongs to a "Lilly from Orlando" with a single bad review on the other site. Number also points to multiple sets of fake pics of other Asian girls.
In addition to blackmailing hookers into working for them, I think it is also conceivable that LEO might "collect" phone numbers of arrested hookers, and maybe also "get" numbers abandoned by hookers, from phone companies, of whom we already know from Edward Snowden that they are all too willing to fuck us over. After all, these numbers are useless for the phone companies since nobody wants to get sleazy phone calls from johns longing for lost ATFs. So there might even be a repository of numbers LEO can use to put up fake ads that yield plausible results in internet searches. It is left as an exercise for the reader how to best protect yourself from the earliest moment you recognize this kind of trap--not like it hasn't been written here again and again.
