Just adding to other reports about seoul spa. I've always received a good to great massage with standard HE each time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking.

Now I know why they closed Peking down. Our friends who closed it down knew the water was contaminated in East Chicago and they wanted to make sure we weren't exposed to contaminated water when showering. Thank you so much for protecting us. On a more series note I learned that Houng passed away at the end of last year. I hope she is resting in peace.
One thing that always bothers me at every place I visit. Do those girls really don't speak or understand any English? I'm a foreigner myself and I cannot understand how they cannot communicate after years of being here, or its maybe just a game to make it more "exotic".

A lot of them pretend not to to avoid talking, but show how much they do understand when it comes time to talk about the tip. I have found very few that I believe don't have much english skills, but usually when that's the case there's at least one other girl in the spa who answers the phone, etc.

-w.[/QUOTE]I have had a couple of conversations during Massage about language. These are intelligent women with some English schooling. What is missing is vocabulary, idiom, pronunciation. Unless I was getting played they seemed genuinely appreciative for the little bit I could share with them. I also learned A little Chinese.
Stopped by Merrillville before a long drive east. Somebody messed with google maps and out the location at a gas station to the west. Apple maps to the rescue. There have been reports of google maps hanging. Perhaps someone can submit a correction.
My MT was Mimi. She is in her 40's and pleasant. She worked very hard and I tipped appropriately. I asked for a hard massage, shower after. It was one one those massages that are therapeutic without being soothing for me. She used short hard thrusts followed by long soft sweeps downwards, the kind of motion to clean crumbs of a table. She telegraphed contact to my arm with her legs but I wasn't interested. Please let me know what Massage style this is.
No Haggle flip. Mimi transformed into a sensual Tantra goddess. I have read Kenneth Ray St#bb and Mimi followed the chapter most AMTs do not. I had a problem firing the flintlock (wet powder?) and so received the most intense attempted Finish of my experience. We went overtime and I suggested we stop. She offered another half hour and continued until the gun barrel melted. L1 only but amazing. Strangely, I left unfrustrated.

Well, I tried to TOFTT today. I saw their ad last week and was hoping to try them out ASAP. In Merrillville today, so drove over to check out the place as something new. Saw the sign and parked, but the door was locked and there was a noted on the door, "Sorry, Open Thursday". There was work going on in the place but nobody to talk to, so hopefully they will open Thursday. Anyway, I drove a couple of miles west and let Mimi work the kinks out. Here's the ad. Not sure but this may be a legit, particularly because of the location.

You are right though that down the street has never failed to exceed my expectations, I just get the urge for something different (Usually a trip up to Michigan). Now that the weather is looking up, I can get away on the bike just about anytime that I want.
I had some free time yesterday and went to Seoul. My therapist was MiMi. Very thorough table shower and back to the room. Her massage technique is different but still effective and good. Got the knots out for sure. On the flip standard L1 release. I will return.
