Hey all, hope everyone's doing fantastic and having success out there! I took a two-year break from the scene (and these forums) in part due to work and giving a monogamous relationship another shot. Unfortunately, things fell apart last month for the latter.

So following a much-needed vacation (and copious amounts of drinking), I started to peruse through SB-related stuff in both this thread and the Baltimore section dating back almost a year. After a week of looking it all over, the gist I'm getting is that Seeking itself has taken a major hit in terms of quality. Increased scammers, rip-offs, thieves, and flakes--all with a healthy amount of GPS seemingly all too prevalent in this DMV region.

My question is this: has it gotten so bad that Seeking is no longer worth the "Premium" upgrade? I get you need to purchase that package in order to read messages, write notes on members, save searches, hide location / view, etc. But would you say it's far worse than 2021? And if so, is there a competitor to Seeking that's better in your opinion?.

The DC scene absolutely sucks compared to a few years ago. I do keep a premium account. And have tremendous success while traveling. But in DC any halfway good looking girl (for me, I tend to only go for the very hot and above) is asking for and getting 800-1 k which is just way outside my budget especially since those of us who have the ability to travel can get much much hotter, sexier, less-jaded girls for half the price elsewhere.

She was a regular of mine in 2021 who always went out of her way to please, very attentive, sweet, and jaw-droppingly gorgeous. She's a cuddler for sure, though I didn't mind at all--just added to the whole GFE. And I definitely didn't get the vibe that she would morph into a serial killer or stalk you outside the FC.

We got along so well that she dispensed with me getting a hotel & hosted me at her place. Met her roommate who's also on Seeking while moonlighting as a stripper someplace. Back then, they were in an open relationship, probably still are. But I wasn't really into the roommate (tattoos weren't my taste and seemed more a pro), nor was I down for a threesome.

One last thing to add: back then, she was fine with BBFSCIP so long as johns showed paperwork proving they were clean. I lucked out as I got it done literally the week before meeting her, so I never wore a cover in all our time together. If we end up reconnecting, I'll have to ask what's changed as I'm kinda curious now.

Jesus Christ, 800 - 1 K is indeed nuts! I truly don't get how dudes can overpay amateurs (which are what SBs are supposedly) at such astronomical rates when it used to by 300 - 500 pre-COVID. Probably should've known some mongers would ruin it for everyone, lose their minds, and fork over the benjamins in droves once the pandemic was finished and normalcy returned.

Yes, it sucks, but every time I up the premium my goal is to fine a couple of good ones at least and been able to with a lot of wading through crap. It's by no means easy, and the ask rate is not 8 bills or 1 k for me, but it's also not 3 or 4 bills like some say it should be. I look for experiences to compensate, things like BB, CIP, young college cuties etc. Last time I upped because had a few messages waiting, and one of them turned out to be a 18 year old college cutie who turned out to be a great find. I am still turned off by the whole scene make no mistake, but finds like this keep me interested.

She's a sweet girl, had good times in the past, and in fact she did let me BB first time we met itself, an exception I realized because she's very paranoid, then agreed on cover a couple of times. When I realized she's seeing the whole crew then stopped, plus got better at selection. But if you're dipping your toes, she's easy to connect and no nonsense. She like DDlg thing, which some guys get weirded out since they don't know what that means.
