Cruised Dot Ave on Sunday night around 11PM and picking was slim due to rain. Eventually, picked up a skinny WSW named Carrie around Andrew. Damage was $.3 for BBBJCIM. I have seen her a few times before but always passed because the vibe was not quite right with her. Rushed job with bad attitude and lots of rule. Will not repeat.

Been strolling Andrew Sq as of late. NO success in scoring. Nadda. Strolled Dot ave also last weekend. Saw nothing. This was on a early Sunday morning around 1-2AM. Got to keep trying. BHA has gone to the dogs. I strolled last night during the light rain and only saw 4 crackwhores standing near the bus stop on Woodcliff St./BHA Wasn't worth my time so I called it a night. Will try again. I may even try Chelsea.

How many SW's have you met who were not doing some type of drugs? My personal experience is that 99% of them are. They often get caught with it on them when arrested for other things, and I'm sure they often get caught in school zones or near parks or public buildings, which is a much more serious charge even if they only have a small amount on them. That's where the potential for the "career criminal" charge comes in. Like others have said, Uncle Leo is desperate to pad their arrest reports these days, and felony charges look better. SW's are [i]very[/i] easy targets for arrests like you said, and if they can turn it into a felony bust, they probably will.

Found nothing all night the length of Dot to Fields Corner, I do make it down to fields once in a while but it seems like there are alot of dudes down that way just hanging around and watching all the vehicles go by. Makes me uncomfortable so I stay down the Andrew square and Hess end. The only 2 chicks out were near Burger King, they were freezing their asses off for 3 hours standing out in the open right under the street lights LOL, one was a white female and the other was latino I think. I'm positive they were LEO with no takers, all that wasted effort for nothing. Passed them about 5 times, even had a white commercial truck pass me in the opposite side flash his lights as he drove by me as if he was warning me about LE. Anyways I finished the night on the corner of Blue hill and Dudley st where I hooked up with Jenna, a petite WSW dark hair thin 115lbs 30ish maybe. 3 for good BBBJCIM. She was a little paranoid always stopping and looking around, which ends up making me paranoid. Wondering if anybody else noticed the two that I saw on Dot near BK, it was amusing to me watching them freeze.

It's a chemical / physical dependency that just increases with each use. Unless they break that cycle, the need will eventually take them,
Even after the physical need is gone, the mental dependency will always be there.
Came out of Boston late, around midnight Swung up Dot ave past bk, circled back and down Columbia to the park. Cruisers parked, cruisers cruising, followed by a statey for a half dozen blocks. They've got to be going somewhere else, but where? I'd love to have the resources to hit up backpage but as that old song goes I'm on a low budget. Oh well, saving dough coming up empty.
Tried to do a double while strolling BHA and Dot Ave. I swear, I must've lost 7 LBS this week alone pounding the pavement. I can see you are trying to be helpful and informative, but you are 100% wrong. The "mental depedency" is associated with the drug itself. Therefore if you do not use the drug for an extended period of time, the dependency on it will vanish.
However, you are correct in stating that you cannot help an addict who doesn't wish to be helped.
I have been free of drugs and booze for well over 10 years and can say with conviction that I haven't had a "mental dependecy" on them in damn near 9. 5 years.

Now if you started using in your 20's, than this is less likely to occur, and simply having time away from the drug (s) may allow the receptors to recover. With these people once detoxed it is more of a mental dependency, and these are the ones who will benefit from just counseling.
Addiction medicine is really a very complicated, and controversial subject.

Personally, I used heavy drugs for a good 3 years straight in my 20's. A person that uses for 20 years is not going to just quit one day and be fine, a lot more damage has been done. However, a 20 yo that has being doing drugs for say. 3-5 years, has a much greater chance of recovering and leading a life free of the need to use. I know multitudes of people that prove this point, myself included. I will agree that some of these girls are too far gone to be saved, but to lump them all in the same pile is just an uneducated thing to do. Addiction treatment is a very involved science, it is not so cut and dry as the OP had made it seem. The causes of addiction also varies from person to person. A chemical imbalance is just one cause.
What I will say is that some of the things these girls do will in fact keep them using for extended periods of time in turn making them harder to "save". It is a vicious cycle. Turn a trick to get high, get high to forget. Rinse and repeat.

Strolled BHA after 2AM. My god, the streets were totally dead. I walked from Winthrop on towards Grove Hall, didn't see ONE SW during the stroll.
