I think you are correct BoobL. All I can definitely recall is she was fun, funny, flaky at times, sweet, accommodating and just all around a pleasant date who legitimately enjoyed our time together. She never went through the motions if you know what I mean!.

Hi fellow forum members, I just had a question about one of the old hunting grounds. I was checking out the maps for the Philadelphia area (Old York Road stroll) and decided to take a drive. When I got there, I didn't see anything action. Also, I don't hear talk about that area anyway. So my question is, What happen to that area or was I not looking in the right places?

At night the trannies take over from Hunting Park north.

Its been quite a few months since I've travelled to Philly to cruise the K (I tend to stay away in colder weather) but I'm thinking of coming in a few days.

From the reports I'm reading, its sounding like there is more LE presence and activity than usual. Any comments? Is it safe?

There has always been a high Law Enforcement presents on and around the avenue. There may seem like it is more because they have varied their patrol route. Again, IMHO, LE is more concern with the drug problem in the area. Certainly, if you blatantly preform an illegal act right in front of one of them, giving them reason to pull you over, they will. And, if they pull you over for any reason and you address isn't in the area, they are going to question you. A lot of out of towners come into Kensington to purchase drugs.

My suggestion is to check your vehicle for working lights, don't make U-turns or stops in the middle of the street or do anything that gives LE the legal right to pull you over and question your reason for being in the area.

I was recently pulled over for a missing tail light. Nicest guy you would ever want to meet. He even told me where to go and get the light fixed. It took about 15 minutes and I was back on the avenue.

BTW: I know you from the Good-Old-Days, when the Duncan Donuts, car dealers and 7 eleven were the hot spots. Things have changed. Most girls avoid the avenue and hang-out near local corners just off of the avenue. A lot depends on the time of day.

LE does frequent drive by raids and if your not careful, you can get busted!

I met up with this girl the other day and we started talking about how some of these girls feel uncomfortable when jumping into cars. She brought up a valid point. I know his hobby is not without its dangers and everybody is scared during the meet and greet session. One of the things she mention was how she will enter into someone's car and that person won't talk to her. They won't say hi, my name is whatever, they just stay quiet during the hold trip. I just couldn't believed what she just told me. I know for me, I want the girl to be as comfortable as possible. So I play some top 40 music, I have some food and bottled water in the car. I know if the girl feel relax, I am going to have a better time. So guys, what is your opinion?

[/QUOTE]I think this view is paranoid and misguided in my humble opinion. In PA solicitation is a misdemeanor crime. As such it is not cost effective for LE to stalk mongers online. Sure they might read here, but no way they can get to your through USASG. First they would have to get a court order and serve it on A2 to turn over you IP address. Since A2 & company is off shore, it is going to cost a lot to do that. Then if A2 fights it, more cost. Then if they get the IP, they need ANOTHER court order for the ISP to ID you in real life. THEN how does anyone prove anything here is anything more than creative writting or that you were in fact typing anything? No, it isn't cost effective to do all of that for a misdemeanor crime.

So your analogy to Bank Robbery - which is a felony and a danger to society - falls through.

I think LE cruises the streets of Philly 24/7 and knows what is going on in any neighborhood. They see the addicts and they see the h**kers and the j*hns. They know from driving their beat where all of that is, they don't need to read USASG to figure that out. When they set up stings is when public opinion grows load enough that they have to do something. That and at certain times of every year they have annual "clean up" days for the Vice Squad.

Anyone is free to be paranoid and run off to close doors. I just have to wonder what is the ulterior motive of those who need to use fear to drive others to their little corner of the universe?
