One thing I would add is to use common sense and compare shop. If you did, you would soon discover that the price of a ticket to ride something like that, running a special would be 500. Most likely 600. And possibly 700. That's every 60 minutes. If it looks too good to be true, typically it is. Personally, I tend to avoid rides that don't come with easily found reviews, but I've taken my share for the team. I can't speak for everybody here, but I've made the same mistake you did. Like 35 damn years ago, but I still recall the sting. I friend of mine in the hobby has made the same mistake twice, so don't beat yourself up. Just learn from the mistake. It's very easy to get confused by a raging hard-on and the need to take it out on a huge rack, so don't. Keep letting the head on your shoulders run the show until it's time to...not.
