I'm not trying to encourage a witch hunt here, and I'm certainly not referring to anyone in particular. In the later situation which is a bit more extreme and less anonymous, the accused (or the accuser) likely wouldn't survive for long unless they've been isolated. Here, on the other hand, it's probably the worst thing that one can brand somebody with. So unless one is willing to put up some solid prove to back it up (and not the likes of [I]"I've seen him in the police station in the police uniform" [/I]or something similar or [I]"I've got a suspicion" [/I]etc.) one should be held responsible for his / her words, especially if they were said in the heat of the moment. Look I've been around this forum for a bit. Longer then some not as long as others and I've never had an issue. They Guy accused me of being Leo. Then he did it again on a different thread and that is what set me off. Like I said I'm not going to let a douce bag come at me without defending myself. With a friend in the Norfolk county the office I'll tell you why. The current climate in this state for ELECTED DAs is tenuous. Perception of law enforcement by the voting public is terrible. Coakley fails at everything she does, cops are getting outed as thieves and scammers, thuslast issue with the crime lab, the fear that a republican tide is going to sweep the nation makes LE scared and they need fast easy hits. Drug stings take months so they go with the easy numbers. Streetwalkers, escorts, massage parlors then lots of publicity. Regardless of what the judge may sentence DAS&ADAS are threatening Max sentences and judges take recommendations.

And "possession of a drug". If they are admitting to a crime is it made up. Maybe. Who knows. I know I could do the escort thing but like to see and talk to girls first; anyone have any ideas of some venue that is more metro or at least someplace where I could walk around and see whats going on without being guaranteed to be mugged? I realize there are no guarantees in life, but I don't want to put myself in obvious danger.

Both time they had cars and the wagon 1 block over and male undercovers blending in right near by including 1 that was wrapped in a blanket laying on the ground looking homeless. The police would only speak to cars that stopped right in front of them. They would not follow or get in any cars. The unmarked units would then come in and arrest after what I assume was an offer was made for sex. They would have him handcuffed and into a car which drove around to the wagon and put them inside while another officer removed the car. This only took seconds and if you did nor see what happened you would not know. Whitin a minute or two they were back to work. The entire sting was only about an hours or so.

I have been invovled in an ongoing discussion about SWs, stings and snitches that has carried over to the Boston forum. And yes I'm mostly southshore so I do not have any idea what goes on in boston.
