Michael Carr. One would need to presume he was connected with one of the Asian places? That's the only way I could see the Feds trying to help make a human trafficking charge stick. The American places the owners can rightfully claim once they took the money, they didn't force anyone to do anything, the girls came to work voluntarily, and they had rules in place against illegal activity, and no knowledge anything illegal went on behind closed doors.

Personal risk? Embarrassment is about all. People paid a door fee. Got a massage, and during the massage there was no discussion of pay to play, human nature took over between two consenting adults.

I'm a state away, but for those more local, it would be interesting if you tracked the actual criminal process. I'm guessing many will plea bargain to get it over with. If one went to trial, the only way is an undercover made an appointment, and there was discussion of pay to play.

I'm a state away as well in the lake country in Wisconsin. All the money I spent down there will no longer be helping establishments, no lottery tickets, no pizza from the place next to ERS, no gas at the Shell station. As well as all the others that came down and added to the local economy. All that money is gone from Belvidere, along with all the money wasted on this 14 month long investigation. All that could have helped the community. Now your going to have two empty buildings. I'm not going to bat for Asian shops cause they I think are they ones that ruined everything. Just like they do in every other town. And those two empty buildings will attract what? Knick-Knack shops and pretty rock shops?

I'll sit back in the Wisconsin lake country, do some boating, have a cocktail, and see what happens, maybe nothing. To the girls into boating that read this, PM me, theres always an extra spot. To the rest of us Lets hope it's all just an election thing or a way to get the less than classy places out of town and keep the places we know to be good businesses.

1/15) I am a private investigator, contracted by Government to check massage shops to see if they're soliciting. I usually get sent to shops which have had multiple complaints and an investigation is in its final stages and they need evidence to support their case.

So, I go to one place, everything seems normal except for being asked to strip bare for an oil massage. Eventually I am asked to flip over, therapist without asking just starts rubbing some "gel" on my 'parts'. At this point, I am obligated to refuse and finish the session. I ask her to stop but halfway through the sentence I am hit with the most intense pain. Turns out, she was new and was unaware that alcohol gel is not the same as massage oil.

Long story short, manager was convicted of coercing staff on the basis of their visas being revoked if they didn't comply. And I had to stand in court and tell the events of that day.

Thanks for providing credible information. I'm continually baffled by why guys think writing in the forum can get a place shut down and why anyone would care if a place did get shut down. There are 100's of MP's in Chicago area so there are plenty to choose from.

Which wouldn't surprise me as many of the girls were from around Rockford. You might want to check out Rockford forum.
